I hope so, I wish they also bring MultiWindow like Sungsonic HD on the Tabs.
Too bad only the rich will be able to buy this, AKA I'll just hang around the store to test the device.

judging by how samsung promoted it i think it will be higher... also read that samsung priced it at 699euro...
features are great but now that the hype is settling down im starting to think that's it's not worth the price especially if you have an s3..

But yeah, i think price will be higher due to taxes and such.

The only reason the price would go down is because the hype cooled down already. For sure pre-order prices would be higher.
To buy or not to buy?lol. Really can't decide whether to wait for the note 3 announcement on august for comparison or buy as early as I can.

It wasn't easy to decide though because I am curious to try the galaxy note line (Note 3). Another thing is that samsung said that it will update other flagship phones(s3) with the features on s4 (not sure if all features are included). S3 is already powerful enough then add up the new features of s4 like smart scrolling then that would definitely make me love my s3 again.
Oh well, I do still have more than a month to decide and hopefully my decision is right.

got used to my note 10.1's s-pen..
and IMO note > s2., note2 > s3., and most probably note3 > s4..
i have an s3 and i dont see enough reasons to upgrade..

Ditto. The rumored sizes of note 3 ( 6.3", 5.9", 5.8" ) is my only concern. I hope it would be just 5.8" so it is not hard to put on my pocket.

This is a nice device but it been out for a while and still no ICS for USA version and no awesome roms. I just purchased the new nexus 7 16gb and its a 1000000 times better IMO and there is already a lot of development going on for it.

Neither. Go for a nexus phone. Nexus s/galaxy nexus/nexus 4.
Bought Galaxy Nexus a year ago for the same purpose, worked like a charm for me. I would suggest to go with Nexus too. There are very popular and hacker friendly.
Strictly for hacking/dev-ing, the Nexus 4/Galaxy Nexus. For hacking/dev-ing while retaining a lot of common features (removable battery, expandable storage), Galaxy S3 or Note 2.

Reading & comprehension appear to be mutually exclusive around these parts. I've never heard of a Samsung duos so I'm taking a gander that the OP means an "S" class Samsung with duo (sic) cores.

I think the Galaxy Nexus/Nexus 4 is the best choice, because you get always the newest updates.
When ubuntu phone is released, you can also develop for ubuntu phone.

i would also rather go for a nexus device instead of the 2 other devices, there are plenty of documentations and drivers for them and you can also run ubuntu on it. perfect for hacking around.
The google phones are the path of least resistance for hacking. They make things easier than 3rd parties who don't care about users who want to unlock or root their phones.

I can't answer about other tablets.
Try to determine the status of the tablet - there are many bricks and cracked screens being sold.
He said it was in extremely good shape, he just doesn't use it. In this picture is this just the stock 4.1.1 rom?

This is only my opinion. Yes I would consider what you have described as a good buy.
I would not take the 4.2 update (10.6.1.8) until there is more known and some of the bugs are worked out.

I dont think iPhone is durable either, it scratches easily and its display cracks even easier I also heard that Galaxy S4 Smart Features don't work as well as demonstrated, is it true?

iphone is more durable than s4.. thats what i mean..
and the sensors work perfect.. without fail..just the good lightning conditions required... normal indoor daylight is perfect.. and if a sensor works on a flat surface.. like a table.. then nothing can make it work on your hand.. however u may balance it... thats not an issue actually but it doesnt impress me either...

I dont love the look of the note 3...granted easy enough to change the back cover...will have to have it in my hand to say for sure but odds are ill pick it up.

Won't do the i337 any good.
Would probably have a nexus 5 as my back up, S4 will remain my main phone.

Well 2 different purposes IMO, but I'll give it a try......
S4 is 1080 p - Note 2 is 720 p
No S-pen obviously for the S4, but with the AIR gestures, you still can hover with your finger to preview things and it has eye detector features such as Smart Stay/Pause/Scroll which I believe are not on Note 2.
Battery life is better on the Note 2, as it has a bigger battery than the S4
That's as far as I know about those 2 beasts
