[INDEX] AT&T/ROGERS One X Resources Compilation Roll-Up (Updated 5/8/14)

Purpose of this thread is to compile an index of links to resources such as stock root method, stock RUUs, custom ROMs, and mods in an organized fashion.

This is not the appropriate place for such questions, and you will have minimal exposure and response to your question by posting it here. ROOT​
Note: Different firmware versions require different root methods. Use the root method that corresponds with your firmware as noted below.
If your version of the phone is not AT&T or Rogers (such as Telus, Telstra, etc.), scroll down to "MISC. GUIDES" for threads which will help you with root, etc.
UPDATE April 2, 2014: Previous root methods will not work for AT&T firmware 5.18 (Android 4.2.2). Only a temp root solution (WeakSauce) currently exists:
Root HTC ONE XL 4.2.2 SENSE 5.0 {STOCK}
This temp root reportedly will not allow S-off or for the CID to be changed. Therefore, it may only be handy for some things (Titanium Backup, other apps that require root).
If you have previously achieved SuperCID and unlocked the bootloader before updating to 5.18 (highly recommended), you should still be able to unlock it again (and therefore install custom recovery, flash SU to root, etc.). Similarly, if you achieved S-Off prior to updating, you still have S-Off and can therefore flash custom recovery, etc. without re-unlocking the bootloader.

Hex Edit Method for SuperCID

Before doing anything to your device I'd recommend that you read through the various threads within the first section below, entitled GENERAL GUIDES so that you are familiar with the various terminology used and you never know you'll probably find an answer to your problem.....
It's also recommended that you install adb/fastboot onto your pc before you start to touch your device so that you have the required tools to execute the necessary commands and to provide other users debugging/logcat information regarding any issues you encounter. This can be a big help when attempting to fix/solve any subsequent problems you experience. You'll find a guide on how to install this within the GENERAL GUIDES section below.
If development on any of the ROMs below or any other entry has been ceased or is no longer valid then I would appreciate if someone (preferably the thread owner (OP)) could contact me and inform me so that I can label it as #CLOSED#. You will find these files useful if you have used the Android Open-Source Project, flashed custom builds on your device, and wish to return that device to its factory state.
In order to use these files, you need to have the fastboot tool in your PATH. That tool is compiled as part of every configuration of the Android Open-Source Project and is the tool used to flash custom builds on your device. On GNU/Linux systems, this also implies that you have configured USB access as mentioned in the machine setup instructions.
Your device needs to be in fastboot mode, with the bootloader unlocked. The relevant key combinations and commands are documented on the page about building for devices.
You need to uncompress each download before use, which creates a new directory for that exact download. That directory contains a ./flash-all.sh script, which handles the various operations, installs the necessary bootloader, baseband firmware(s), and operating system. Note that this operation deletes all user data by default.
After restoring a factory image, it is recommended that you lock the bootloader, for security reasons.
If you need some help for install SDK and ADB drivers in Win 7, you can use this guide which is really good and comprehensive for all of us

1. Make a nandroid backup [For If you wish to Revert Back.]
2. Reboot to Recovery.
3. Wipe Cache Partition.
4. Wipe Dalvic Cache in Advance menu.

How to flash a Custom Recovery from PC or Laptop using ODIN
Instructions
1. Download Samsung USB drivers[skip if your device gets detected and drivers are installed]
2. Download Odin 3.07
3. Run Odin as administrator
4. Connect your device with a USB cable
5. Browse PDA and select custom recovery .md5 file remember to extract the zip using winrar or 7zip. Don't put zip files here.
4. Click Start, wait for the device to restart. remove cable, hold down power+vol up+vol down until samsung splash screen is seen.

How to flash/change/update recoveries using you device
These are CWM and Twrp flashable zip files to switch between CWM recovery to Twrp recovery or vice-versa ( does not work with stock recovery flash a custom recovery first through ODIN method)
Instructions
1. Download custom Recovery zip file
2. Copy it on your external sd card
3. reboot to cwm or twrp recovery
4. select zip file and flash
5. reboot and select reboot recovery to access the new recovery.

for cm11, none in the list. all are for stock ROM only.
cm11 ROM comes with an OC kernel, that's the only one as far as I know. if there are any, kindly let me know. I will update.

Well I guess no one else had any other link. Unfortunately I had deleted all the files that I had on my PC since I gave away my old S7562 to someone. If you or anyone else can't find the Hungarian firmware, you can download any other that you have, and just flash the Hungarian Baseband on top of it. Hope this helps.
