Just tried loading this ROM. Bluetooth seems not to be working. Anyone experiencing the same?

If u culd remove verizon startup, fix camera & recorder, and fix the game teether (FC)
Other than that the rom is blazingly fast if u ask me even faster than cursorsense, if u manage to fix above things will use this rom

camera and recorder cannot be fixed atm until above mentioned release from rogers happens
teeter just delete teeter
i will delete it from my next release - been playing with it all day and its safe to say it is faster and more responsive than my prev rom with CM kernel
will upload and post to forum tonite for updates to both AOSP 1.9 and Droid2Magic 1.2

it sounds like it is reloading sense there
are you killing rosie and/or sense with a task manager?
rosie should only take long on boot to load and future loads and home switches should be lightning quick

no it is a droid eris port - read kings original thread for info
no need to load any defanged file - that is only needed for roms requiring a base to backup google apps (superD,Cyanogen)

With the new kernel I get many FC's (after boot I get like 5 FC)'s, and I didn't notice any response difference compared to the CM kernel
i have not experianced any FC with new kernel - doing a full wipe though
would not reccomend to no-wipe update

yes it does work
Using dsixda's rom kitchen and with some trial and error with a few other roms I ran into some luck with KiNgxKxROM Sense Hybrid v2.3.
It's a bit of a pain to get past the setup screen (or at least for me) so you just have to have some patience.
What doesn't work:
Wi-Fi (I need someone with some experience to help with that if you don't mind)
Camera
Anything else that we might discover
What this does have:
It should have everything that the original rom has
Bluetooth works
Multitouch browser
Anything else that we might discover
Requirements
A rooted MyTouch 1.2 device (duh!)
SDCARD with fat/swap/ext3 partition (not sure if 2 or 4 works... haven't tested. Let me know)
A complete wipe (dalvik-cache, data, ext partiton)
A little patience.
I had it freeze up a couple of times on me so this is far from perfect but it might be a start to someone that wants to rip it apart and try it for themselves, upload it and I'll update the link for a more perfected version.
And please don't ask:

But therein may lay the problem with the stability. A 1.6 kernel with a 1.5 rom would very likely tend to cause some issues... but I don't think it's half bad since it's my first ported rom.
So if any mouth-breathers wants to get all hyper about this not being perfect release I'll invite you to give it a shot. I intend on experimenting with more to see what I can get to work. In the meantime, this is a start I think.
I'm hoping that someone can help me figure out the wifi and camera issues so that we can have this closer to completion. Other than those I think this is pretty much finished. Unless someone discovers something that I didn't with my entire 15 minutes of playing around with it.

Most Hero roms are pretty laggy. You have to enable swap to get it to smooth out. I'm playing with a few more right now. I'm trying to find a decent 1.6 and 2.1 Hero roms that work.
alright i enable swap its some wat smoother but still alittle buggy i think its because of the kernel

What did you do for the wifi to work?
i flashed the deport 1.0 from here (http://twistedumbrella.slackdev.com/Deport-1.0.zip)

Okay... the reason why the touchscreen doesn't work is because there is a boot.img in that zip file. Inside the boot.img is the kernel which allows the wlan.ko for the wi-fi to operate. Even if I was to just use those files (that is without the boot.img) it still more than likely won't work. It would likely bare the same results. Does your bluetooth work still?

I love Sense UI, so this ROM is awesome. The camera and wifi working would be a plus, but it's still pretty solid. Thanks Binary 100100!

I have another one that I'm working the kinks out with. It's the Eris rom ported. Camera works, bluetooth doesn't. It's always something isn't it? LOL. But it's a good start.

Your problem is that the Deport file is a kernel. So you are flashing a non working kernel over our working kernel. Thats why there is no touch. To get the wifi working you gota push a wlan file from another rom.. but then it normaly takes out bluetooth.

I've been playing with the celebration and test build. I was wondering i got the test build running in english by combining the celebration and test build. how would i get the launcher from force closing? this is for me just to play around with, any suggestions?

Wait how did you get the celebration build to work? i thought that was for the LG 2x only not the g2x??
simple change the installer_script to allow install on p999 instead of p990, I noticed the partitions were set properly on this build :/ . I didn't know if the ril is cross compatible i replaced that with a cm build of lge-ril.so. to fix the sdcard copy over volf.conf from cm and on next reboot it should mount the sdcard and emmc. the only issue with this rom is the gps doesn't work at all. I tried fixing it but i don't even get the sat icon to appear.
what i did was used the boot.img, updater-script and the lge-ril.so from the test build and imported it into the celebration build... don't quote me on that.... but took a wgile to boot up... but having problems mentioned.. I am thinking since the mout points are different that is the problem with no sdcards... and the other problems wifi, gps, and i guess bluetooth aren't working.... maybe different hardware...

i couldn't find volf.conf anywhere int the cm build....
I used cm7 because this build of miui is built off of 2.3.4 sources according to the build.prop but i imagine any build would would work. also did you use the kernel that was with that rom? - I am not sure about the differences with o2x other than different radios/partition schemes.

the kernel is boot.img what test? though that could explain why no signal too. If the gps worked I would totally switch to it as full time rom but it didn't so meh. also the sense like lockscreen wasn't there and the theme manager was broken.

when it was posted on the developers section the thread was closed because MIUI doesn't like it when anything is posted before it is finished... (or released) i don't get it either? if i post it this thread would be shut down and the link removed..... because i would like to share what i have... any Admin would like to help me out here?

Hey I'm trying to get a working miui camera with ffc do you know if the camera works in the build u have? if you could let me know it would be great. I was following the post but I guess miui germany took it down.
i havnt tested the ffc yet but i will have to wait to tweak when i get to work i have my files and the build there.. then install it....
okay cool just let me know if it works too haha i've been waiting for miui for ages.
Any update as to when Miui is going to be officially released for the G2x?

I'm impressed. I wish this would get released officially but it sounds like you are making some serious progress.
Andromadus - Test Builds
To start with here you will find test versions of ROMs built by me from the Andromadus github repo http://github.com/Andromadus, think of them along the same concept as nightly builds just not every night These are development ROM's, if you want to run bleeding edge development ROM's and at least know how to use adb and logcat then you might find something of interest here. If you require something that works 100% of the time all of the time then this might not be for you. That said you can always give it a try and if it doesn't work restore your previous nandroid backup!
What IS Andromadus?
Initially it was a group of people who got together to make ICS work on the HTC Desire Z because nobody else seemed to want to support devices with physical hardware keyboards/trackpads. Whilst the idea stays the same It has grown slightly to support some other hardware and some of the work we have done is now used in many other devices. Andromadus builds of CM10 or CM10.1 are basically CM sources with a few additional tweaks or additions to support our phones.
1. New versions will be added as and when I feel there are enough changes to warrant one, don’t ask when the next version is coming.
2. If we decide to release a "Stable" version of these roms they will be published in another Andromadus thread.
Direct all your queries with release versions to that thread and in the same vain do not discuss these releases anywhere but here.
3. I will do as best I can to answer questions but if you don't get an answer from me I'm sure somebody else will be along to help. Help each other and I have more time to spend fixing things!
4. Don't ask for what's changed since the previous version, have a look at the recent submits on the Andromadus github if you want to know or wait for the mini changelogs when I post a new release.
5. If there is something in particular to test it'll be mentioned!
6. As always if you didn't wipe between installations then at least verify that the problem exists on a clean install before posting here. Nandroid/superwipe/install/check at the end of the day you can always restore your nandroid if the problem is reproducible on a clean installation. If you can't be bothered to try this then I really can't be bothered to try to help you :>
7. All that said ensure you make a nandroid/backup before hand. I take no responsibility for what you do to your phone with these ROM.
8. Whilst I can't stop you I would rather these builds were not used as a base for any ROM/MOD/ETC. The source is all available if you want to do your own builds with which you can do whatever you like.
9. Tell us what works/what's worse/what's better but don't ***** when something breaks or isn't fixed yet, report it and move on.
10. Sometimes people forget that we do this for fun, for ourselves, and sometimes your super important issue is way down on our personal list of things to be fixed.
If you ignore any of the above you will in turn be ignored.
Now that's all out of the way as always have fun

There was an issue with the backup tool in the last build that will break gapps and your account's etc when flashing this build, the solution is to re-flash gapps at the same time as the rom and you should be fine. This build should fix it so that the next build will work as it should

Wow, 3rd ICS for G1!!! Looks amazingly fast (for ICS), how did you do it? I'm assuming it's the hw acceleration. Where's the Dalvik cache stored, that was a big problem in terms of speed for previous ICS ROMs.
I now have a G2 (Desire Z) so will be able to test this in the near future + give feedback

Which ROM did you use for the CM9 base? Rotation works right (no black screen).
Let me know if you have tested youtube.

Some of these sound like a kernel issue. What kernel are you using?

I don't think these are kernel issues, because it works fine on powerplop's base. Few of them should be fixed tonight.
My mind is blown!! Im trying this as soon as i get home and flash it to my G1. I wonder if, when HTC made the G1, they had the slightest idea that almost four years latter it would still be getting use and that more importantly it would have such advanced software forced into it and still run nicely.

I'm awaiting patiently this release (so patiently that I keep refreshing this thread).
This would be a great boost for my cellphone, because everyone else is all happy with their 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2s in their all new cellphones.

Yes, I tried, but it doesn't even boot. Any ics rom doesn't boot for me with this kernel.
