Call AT&T and get the unlock code.
Say you're going out of the country and it won't work where you're going.

What I wanted was to get another room but it the superclickone and Megatron, and both fail. I do not know what to do ....
I Have p920, version v20a android version 2.3.5.

try factory restoring your phone then run megatron again

but with a factory reset will I lose all right?

Froyo, yikes. Update to gingerbread with kdz method asap. Froyo is slow and battery drain was diabolical.
Ignore the "no updates" rubbish, that's just your carrier who can't be bothered to give you any.

You are mucking up the forums with questions that have been answered over and over. Please use the search button. I think it's one of the rules (or at least it should be). Everything you need to know is in the dev section. Reading will make you more knowledgeable about your phone, its capabilities and this entire forum.
Good luck rooting your phone and trying new roms.

Sorry i just dont seem to get the right response when i post in right place for some reason. But i will do it from now on.

Good that you have rooted successfully.
21E baseband is the one that doesn't have the :GHOST CALLS" issue.
ROMs are sensitive to the baseband versions, so please be careful about te ROM you are trying out else you will face no network / boot loop / stuck on LG screen.
If you can flash Baseband 21E, then Promethius ROM 1.4 with Promethius Kernel v 1.4.5.1 ( please check for kernel versions with + and without + in the end) will give out the best battery life (as per my experience)
(He seems to be the only one active ROM developer left)

Ive tryed that rom a couple of time twice had no network signal and once stuck on lg screen bloody pain. I thought it was coz i was still running froyo but since on gb still wont work and for sum reason it wont flash the kernals all a bit of a blag for me so just on rooted stock rom now lol

You must be on GB and baseband 21e to use latest prometheus roms, and kernels.I think you can use Prometheus 1.3 rom with 1.3 kernel, and you will have signal.

I tried this fxz rom on my international mb865 mearet based AT2.it's the best rom ever!
Very fast and smooth.very stable.a lot of features.
I couldn't root it unless I read that I need to replace to boot.img from the Asian retail fxz.
I highly recommend it.

what about data connectivity??..is it unstable??..i mean both mobile data and wifi

Same as mearet or searet,stable in my phone but still have the issue that 3g data will not connect unless I switch to air plane mode on-off
I think it's provider related.

Sgh-i497 modem /dir locations

I am trying to fix the loss of wifi/lte/bluetooth when flashing a rom . Now i was able to use Childofthehorn's deodexed rom but it breaks aformentioned parts. Now i was able to get the lte and bluetooth working but am unable to figure out the wifi. The slider is grayed out and will not enable. All i did was transfer the modem and blutooth files from my working rom over/into hers and reflash. I have a decent understanding of the processes involved butamunsure WHERE i need to look, so far i have only found 1or2 wifi folders in the root but the filesi moved into them do nothing. I have found the /etc/wifi and oneother.
Any help would be appreciated as i know thisis a roadblock for all of us i497 users...

I had a similar issue with my sch-i705. What I ended up doing was copy/paste the entire /system directory using root explorer to my sdcard. then rebuilt the ROM that way. This ensured i had all working libs and modules necessary for wifi/bt/lte to work.

Yeah thats what i did with bt and lte. I dont want to break fhe deodex version by overwriting something from the umama1 rom.

Hello everyone!!! I have a question, my gf SII was recently unlocked, the bad thing is that it has gingerbread, i want to flash a new rom (stock ics or jb if there is or cyanon), what i wish to know is, if after flashing a rom will she loose her unlock? She is from poland, would love to know if i can do that, if i loose the unlock, is there a free way to unlock it again?

Any ROM you flash will have no effect on the unlock.
