Pls help: There any way to install Market or replace Google Play?
Tks so much
If you install the apk it's installed, no?
Or I'm misunderstanding you
If your trying to Uninstall Google Play just go into manage apps and uninstall. Or you can use Titanium Backup to uninstall. Then just Google an older Android Market apk. Install it normally, or push with adb.

Are you saying that the Google Play APK will not install?

Hello.
I think he said that the Market / Play store is not working on the phone initially delivered without the market, even if he install it manually, and whatever is the version.
I've the same problem on 2 chinese phones, the first one on android 2.3 and the second on android 2.2.
On both, the main problem is that the option "Accounts & sync" in the settings is missing and therefore it is not possible to manage accounts (or it is present but you cannot add a google account).
Unfortunately, the market app is looking for these infos to obtain your market account.
Plus, on the android 2.3, the market crash at launch because of some missing librairies, but it is another story
So, his main concern is probably : how can I manage the accounts if it is not available in the settings ? there is a way to manually add a google account outside of the settings ?
And I must admit that I don't know

Sure
For phone already have market and run normally (have right already), we can replace by other version like Googplay
I'm trying to find the way to run market or google play normally on the phone (origin SW don't have market)
You need to have googleservicesframework and googlefeedback installed on your phone as well for it to manage account. Download any gapp packages, for instances cyanogenmod ones and adb push it to system/app. With both the market and the googleservicesframework in the system, it will be able to manage the account and work as it should. Hope that helps.
Code:
adb remount
adb push c:\market\GoogleFeedback.apk /system/app/GoogleFeedback.apk
adb push c:\market\GoogleServicesFramework.apk /system/app/GoogleServicesFramework.apk
adb push c:\market\Vending.apk /system/app/Vending.apk
adb reboot
Ouaw ! Big thanks for this hint.
It works for me on my G'Five A68.
You make my day
I always 'cleanup' the gapps package before installing it on cm7. And I don't have any Googlefeedback.apk installed and things work fine (for sure the other 2 are installed...).
Cheers
Ok, good to know, thanks.
But in my case, there was no gapps package on this chinese phone, so, no need to clean up
- out of topic -
Quick question about the apk in /system/app : it is safe to replace Settings.apk and SettingsProvider.apk with ones of another rom ?
Because lot of settings are missing in this chinese phone, so I wondering if ...
It is an android 2.2, rooted thanks to zergRush method.
Thanks.

Tks JokerAce,
I almost find same way like you but I just copy GoogleServicesFramework.apk and Vending.apk to \system\app (Use Root Explorer)
Now, I copy GoogleFeedback.apk
Install all above files
Run Market, I cannot sign in with old account or create new account
Note: I copy those files from Android 2.2.2 to my Chiness phone 2.3.5, is it OK?
Pls help

What do you mean by "install" ?
Because you don't have to (you must not) install these files, once copied, you must restart the phone.
If you've installed these apk manually, uninstall them, and retry.
For "Vending.apk", the version is not an issue, but I don't know for the Gapps.
If you want I can send you those from my android 2.2.2 in PM.
There, I've attached all of the 3 files mentioned...
The Vending.apk is Market version 3.4.4 but it will be updated to the latest GooglePlay pretty quickly once you install and use it - because even if I frooze (deleted in fact) the MarketUpader.apk from my phone, it still updated alone a week or two ago...
So just delete any Vending.apk from /system/app you may have first. Then if you have a root enabled file explorer, move to three files in that folder AND (since no one mentionned that already) don't forget to set the files permissions and ownership and reboot. That can easily be done with Root Explorer by long pressing on the file (after setting the folder to R/W - top right corner) and choosing "Permissions" and later (scroll way at the bottom) "Change Owner" [see 2 pics for details - sorry for the pic in Chinese - no time to take screenshots of this..]
OR
if your rom includes it, use Teminal Emulator from the app drawer (but that's a lot of typing!) by placing the 3 files on the root of your sd card and enter all of the following lines in Terminal:
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw /system/
cd /sdcard/
cp -f Vending.apk /system/app
cp -f GoogleServicesFramework.apk /system/app
cp -f GoogleFeedback.apk /system/app
cd /system/app/
chmod 644 Vending.apk
chown 0.0 Vending.apk
chmod 644 GoogleServicesFramework.apk
chown 0.0 GoogleServicesFramework.apk
chmod 644 GoogleFeedback.apk
chown 0.0 GoogleFeedback.apk
Hi JokerAce,
I've tried to sign in/ create new acc so many time and it OK now (create new acc. 2 times is OK, but cannot sign in - it hang at connecting screen)
I've used Root Manager so I don't have to type commands
Tks so much, I'll try with sign in option to make sure that's OK

Do you mean that the GPS is not able to fix/find your position ?
If so, try FasterFix, it has worked for me on my Chinese phone.

(don't forget to restart the phone)
Or you can do it manually (or learn why you get trouble) thanks to this thread :

can i use a specific version of play store in my fit?? as i hv downloaded v3.4.7 and i want to use it...i dont wannt too update it to v3.7.13...
how it can be done???
In order to install it, you must be rooted and you need either a little knowledge of ADB or Root Explorer from the market.
Using ADB;
Reboot into recovery and plug into pc, mount /system using your recovery
From your preferred ADB console:
adb push Vending.apk /system/app
adb shell rm /system/app/MarketUpdater.apk
adb shell chmod 644 /system/app/Vending.apk
adb shell chown root.root /system/app/Vending.apk
Reboot.
Using Root Explorer;
Download apk to sdcard
mount /system rw
browse to /system/app
remove MarketUpdater.apk
remove Vending.apk
browse back to sdcard and copy the Vending.apk to /data/local/tmp
copy the Vending.apk from /data/local/tmp to /system/app
using permissions action, set permissions on Vending.apk [Owner: Read Write. Group: Read. Others: Read]
using set owner action, set owner to 0 - root, group to 0 - root.
Close and reboot.
Using titanium backup:
1) Using Titanium Backup (Or another app that lets you do this) either Freeze (Paid app) or Backup, then delete Market Update (Free App)
2) Go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, and scroll down to market, and select
3) Uninstall updates from Market
This is very easy to do, and you may be able to use other freeze or backup apps to achieve the same result. Also note, no reboot required.

There are two apps aimed at rooting Android devices: 'z4root' and 'superoneclick' but success with these is hit or miss. It's worth a shot

Hello kickhopperX
I also have a tablet aigopad m60 like you. this tablet is already rooter, you need just one application as ES Explorer which will allow you access to the tree (/).
I needed time to mount my sd card external sd card to the system.
One question: your tablet restarts all the time?
Good Day
Escuse me if I speak a little sore I use google translate to translate.

[ROOT] [HOWTO] aigoPad M60 rooting script + generic su + generic usb driver
Hi.
I owned several aigoPad M60 bought from all over (to say it have slightly different ICS 4.0.3 revisions) and some I actually got them revisions by sending to service centre and flashed to a newer firmware.
Nevertheless, all of them can be rooted using this script (for Windows, 380 KB).
I actually rooted a Kindle Fire HD first using this script found on some chinese site (sorry I already forgot where I did so please pardon me for lack of credits). I cleaned up and englicised the whole thing, and updated the ADB tools to greater (and more compatible) version. Actually most ICS root scripts found everywhere are more or less the same.
So far, devices tested and succeded:
- Amazon Kindle Fire HD (ICS version)
- aigoPad M60 (ICS)
- Samsung Galaxy SII (GT-I9100 & GT-I9100G) ICS and Jellybean (works on mine, both phones and both 4.0.3 and 4.1.2)
- Chinese Samsung Galaxy SIII clone (can't explain much since it's a bootleg, it has MTK board) (ICS)
- Several other chinese tablets which somehow lose it's root or not rooted (ICS): Momo.cn 3G, AMPE, MaPaN. Sorry didn't remember it's exact models anymore.
This script contains a batch file, ADB exe file and two API libraries, and a generic su found in chinese tablets. The su works up to certain level but it is preferred to replace that with SuperSU from chainfire (Superuser from chainsdd didn't work well on these ICS chinese tablets, for me. Not sure about koushik's). Just install and when it asks to replace binary, choose normal and tap yes.
You have to have installed USB driver first. I have uploaded the compatible USB ADB driver for most chinese phones and tablets (8.5 MB, have to be split into x32 and x64 since the forum doesn't allow 8MB+ attachments, if you're not sure, download both and merge the folders, overwriting duplicate files).
Note: The driver works on Windows XP, 7 and 8. On Win 7 and 8 you will have to disable driver signature verify in order to install. (Win 7: Boot, F8, Disable signature. Win 8: Setting, Change PC Settings, General, Advanced Startup, look for Disable signature)
Those who already have ADB and drivers installed, here it is (simplified form of the actual script):
Windows (no need admin for ADB, just for driver installation):
Code:
adb wait-for-device
adb shell mv /data/local/tmp /data/local/tmp.bak
adb shell ln -s /data /data/local/tmp
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb shell rm /data/local.prop
adb shell "echo \"ro.kernel.qemu=1\" > /data/local.prop"
adb reboot
adb wait-for-device
adb remount
adb push su /system/xbin/su
adb shell chown 0.0 /system/xbin/su
adb shell chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
adb shell rm /data/local.prop
adb shell rm /data/local/tmp
adb shell mv /data/local/tmp.bak /data/local/tmp
adb reboot
adb kill-server
Linux:
Same
Tip: If you want to, you don't have to download anything. Just copy+paste the script. But make sure you have su in current directory. You can get chainfire's su from SuperSU.apk (assets\supersu.arm.png, rename it to su).
Careful though, this copy+paste script lacks safety measures compared to the one in the archive, such as it doesn't check if the rooting is a success or not, but the script inside archive will prompt you first before wiping /data/local/tmp ...
Note: What I mean by the su works 'up to certain level' is, it doesn't accept command lines such as su -c command. Also you will have to replace it with a proper superuser app (SuperSU, Superuser) if you want to use Titanium Backup, Lucky Patcher and so on...
i juz purchase one for my kids to play games and i google on how to root the aigopad m60, it took me here.
Many thanks for the guide, i succesfully root it.

Here we have 2 scenarios; the first is easy and the second is salty..!!
I hope you got the first scenario; since the second one is handy..!!!
The first scenario: you got custom recovery too:
If so, just get cwm SuperSU from here and flash it in cwm.
Other scenario if you didn't had custom recovery:
- Keep the previous root.
- Download SuperSU with su binary from same thread in previous scenario.
- Extract the content in a folder (we will call it SS so you could follow the procedure) and move it to your sdcard. The SS folder contains su and Superuser.apk).
- Download Terminal Emulator from Google play.
- Open Terminal Emulator and write this code:
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw /system
dd if=/sdcard/SS/su of=/system/xbin/su
chown root.root /system/xbin/su
chmod 06755 /system/xbin/su
ln -s /system/xbin/su /system/bin/su
Remember to hit enter in between those lines. Don't close Terminal Emulator now, just hit home button to minimize it.
- Now by any root explorer, go to /system/app and delete the Chinese superuser (don't do normal uninstall, you need to delete the apk from /system/app).
- Return back to Terminal Emulator which is still running and write these codes:
Code:
dd if=/sdcard/SS/Superuser.apk of=/system/app/Superuser.apk
chmod 0644 /system/app/Superuser.apk
- Now reboot your device.
Is there any easy method Coz I'm beginner in programming.....
Please help me I don't understand which file to download from previous scenario as I open the thread I don't understand which file to download... if you can share the link..
Thanks in advance.
Hello everyone,
This method I'm going to write is tried on my own Lenovo A7600-H Kitkat 4.4.2 tablet, which I did not flash because I'm not sure about stock roms available on the net. If I had found a reliable rom I wouldn't be able learn this
To remove this virus you need to install busybox, Terminal emulator, Root explorer pro and you must have Supersu not superuser which is installed by Kingoroot. If you have rooted your device with kingoroot, so you need to change that.
Here is how to change that:
Google this: how to get ride and replace kinguser with supersu app (Follow first zidroid link)
I'm not able to submit links so im going to write the exact apps with developer names to download from Playstore.
Busybox Installer by JRummy Apps Inc.
Terminal Emulator by Jack Palevich
Root Explorer Pro by Speed Software
Once you have installed everything here is what to do in steps:
[Note: USB DEBUGGING MUST BE ENABLED Turn on Usb Debugging by going to settings> developer options> Usb debugging]
1) Turn off wifi/3G/4G, and then go to settings> apps> all> disable time service and monkey test. (If already frozen via titanium backup or other app) skip this.
2) Open Root explorer go to system/xbin and see if there is any file starting with a dot (eg: .ext.base) also note that every (.) file has diff permission then the rest of other files. So just remember those files with dots because those are the one that you're going to remove in terminal emulator.
3) Go back to system and then go to Priv-app folder and look for these two files
[1] cameraupdate.apk [2] providerCertificate.apk and also notice permission of these two files are different then the rest of Apks so these two are the base of MT TS virus and needs to be deleted.
4) Open Terminal Emulator OR if you have access to your device via adb from a computer.
5) WHAT TO TYPE IN TERMINAL EMULATOR or ADB (CMD Windows)
adb devices (Type this line if you're using adb Windows)
adb shell
su
mount -o remount,rw /system
cd system/priv-app
chattr -iaA providerCertificate.apk
rm providerCertificate.apk
chattr -aA cameraupdate.apk
rm cameraupdate.apk
cd ..
cd system/xbin
chattr -iaA .b
rm .b
chattr -iaA .ext.base
rm .ext.base
chattr -iaA .sys.apk
rm .sys.apk
[NOTE: If you are using older version than KK you need not to type priv-app just type cd system/app]
6) Please make sure you type the file name correctly just as providerCertificate C is capital otherwise permission wont change.
7) Exit Emulator/ADB
8) Go to settings> apps> all> send me the screenshot if you have Monkey test or Time Service there
9) I'm 100% sure if you've followed everything as I mentioned you are good as new and you don't need to flash.
10) I'm not a developer and That's it!

If you don't have a priv-app folder than you are not on Kitkat and you have to delete files from system/app folder.
Well anyway you have to delete cameraupdate.apk and providerCertificate.apk
and you are deleting SettingProvider.apk which I never said you have to.
Please look closely

Btw you are unable to remove providersettings.apk because you might be typing wrong attributes for it.
To see its attribute cd system/app [enter]
then type lsattr to look for attributes of providersettings.apk
and then use those attributes with - and rm that file.
And If you want to flash your phone/tablet go with your brand official rom.

LiveWallpaper.apk;SistemCertificate.apk and providerCertificate.apk .so i delete all on system/app. all can delete except cameraupdate.apk
I try your way but i have different case on my ColorOS android 4.2.2
Using App Master(EasyApps Studio) i find that :
monkey test refer to cameraupdate.apk
but time service refer to com.android.hardware.ext0-1.apk

rm com.android.hardware.ext0-1.apk

Yes you don't need cache clear but doing it on a safe side is better.

1) Turn off wifi/3G/4G Open settings> apps> all> disable time service and monkey test.
5) WHAT TO TYPE IN TERMINAL EMULATOR or ADB (CMD Windows)
adb devices (Type this line if you're using adb Windows)
adb shell
su
cd system/priv-app
chattr -iaA providerCertificate.apk
rm providerCertificate.apk
chattr -aA cameraupdate.apk
rm cameraupdate.apk
cd ..
cd system/xbin
chattr -iaA .b
rm .b
chattr -iaA .ext.base
rm .ext.base
chattr -iaA .sys.apk
rm .sys.apk
6) Please see if your device xbin has more files with dots because these are three files I had so if there are more you need to remove them with the same command I mentioned above (e.g:cd system/xbin [Enter] chattr -iaA .New.file & then rm .New.file and make sure you type the file name correctly just as providerCertificate C is capital otherwise permission wont change.
7) Exit Emulator/ADB shutdown your device go to recovery clear cache and restart.
8) Go to settings> apps> all> send me the screenshot if you have Monkey test or Time Service there
9) I'm 100% sure if you've followed everything as I mentioned you are good as new and you don't need to flash.
10) I'm not a developer and That's it!

You can't change it with Root Explorer you have to change permissions with Terminal Emulator by the entering the commands I've mentioned in my guide.

Forgive me, but your statement quoted above is the only one that makes sense here. You were booted from Security Discussion thread and you move here.
You confuse people, give nonsensical advice and don't seem to know what you are talking about. First of all the chattr command is not supposed to work on Android ext4, so, no wonder people can't remove files this way. And anyway, your prolong instructions are not worth the "paper" they are written on. Even if someone would succeed following them, there is no guarantee they remove the virus. The proper way is to completely reformat your phone including internal SD and external SD, which you do in recovery by formatting System, Cache, Dalvik cache, Data and both sd cards. Period. And for the future, don't install any third party apps unless you compile them from source by yourself or someone you trust.
OK

If you are having this error it means you have installed busybox app not busy box.
To do this open busybox app in your device, select busybox ver1.2, select intall location /system/xbin/ and tap install.
Then try the procedure

Get a custom rom. If there is no custom rom, then do a factory reset and then format external and internal sd cards.
Brother Nuh has helped me solving cameraupdate and time service android malwares without flashing, may the Almighty bless him abundantly I really learnt some new things from him Thumbs Up for Brother Nuh:good:

I can't find a custom recovery either, so only stock recovery with not many options. :crying:
