In Csc i only have CHN and CHZ.
I`ve downloaded and flashed using odin and guide ( 10x for that) Gb 2.3.6. Non branded and all region PDA, MODEM and CSC files.

And who sold that phone to me didn'ttold me that this phone is boght form China, and i dont like those stck apps that are installed after i flashed that rom ( and also i can`t use gmail .apk, playstore.apk, gmaps and so on).
tell me is there a solution that ca can fiind to this problem.
I want toinstall a allreagion CSC so my problems will be solved, but i didn`t find anything ( tutorial, guide, thead) about my problem.
I hope someone can help me to solve this problem.

If you are rooted & want to do..then root your phone & switch to CM10.1. It has all solutions.
So a solution to remain on actualy rom 2.3.6gb all region u dont have?
See pictures.!
which region are you in? Which region rom would you like to use? You can flash any stock 2.3.6 Official Samsung ROM from this link
Welcome to the SGR Family
You will have to download Odin in your PC and flash the stock rom you want via that software. Then you will have another region's CSC in your phone. The current bugfree and stable 2.3.6 ROMs are the austrian "3" provider rom. To be honest, the reason why most of us here recommend CM10.1 is because of its awesomeness. Another point is that Gingerbread Roms (2.3.6) and ICS Roms (4.0.4) which were officially released by samsung are buggy for us. For eg, in GB Indian CSC version Rom the data counter doesnt work properly and in ICS the games do not work properly, there is frequent stuttering etc. Hence we moved to jelly bean 4.2 in cm10.1 which is just beyond amazing.
However, if you use GPS often or skype/other voice calling apps over the internet they may not work properly yet. GPS is sort of moody and is working for some and not for the rest.. not sure why.. but i'm sure all these bugs will be squashed out soon..
Happy flashing

I bought the SGS2 rooted from Hungary and when I connected it to KIES it still recognised the software as official and when I went to my home country Malta it managed to upgrade to ICS. Since that time I flashed other roms and never went back to samsung official roms (unless they are not modified).
The other thing you should think of is you can always revert back to the official GB if something goes wrong. Just be sure that you can download the official firmware for your country so that you will have it when you need it back.
Good luck with your flashing If you need something do not hesitate to ask, I will do my best to help
Hi,
I have a P6800 with HK vendor code. When the ICS appeared I couldn't wait for the HK version, so I rooted the tablet and flashed first the P6800XXLQ1_CSC_ATO and later the P6800XXLQ2_CSC_ATO, both with Mobile Odin. I did it with the EverRoot option, so the device is still rooted. Since I live in Hungary and the ATO CSC is also for my country, it seemed to be the best choice. And really, the tablet works well, I am satisfied with it -- let alone some minor bugs.
But certainly I lost the possibility to get further updates by KIES. (In fact, since flashing the ICS ROM, KIES doesn't want to recognise the tablet at all.)
I may pass the tablet to someone inside my family and that's why now I'd like to restore the 'normal' state: gain back the KIES connection, the possibility to upgrade with KIES, etc.
The best would be to change the vendor code from TGY to ATO, so that the CSC and vendor code would match. Is it possible? If yes, how?
Thanks
goto playstore and search a software name galaxy s/s2 csc
i manage to change my csc using that software. but the device will factory reset after changing csc.

Yes, thanks, but I knew about that app, I downloaded it and run it, but in my case it wasn't useful. It detected my code as TGY but didn't offer another code to change to. (see attachment)
I guess this app worked for Honeycomb ROM but not anymore with ICS ROM.

Then flash back to HC ? Then look on Sammoble for ICS ROM for your area .
Yeah, I might do it... I just hoped to be able to avoid flashing and flashing again...
Maybe someone, who changed the CSC not before but AFTER flashing the stock ICS ROM, could help me by telling me where the vendor code stored in ICS ROMs.
It is different from the Honeycomb ROMs for sure, because the 'system/csc' folder does not exist anymore in ICS. Meanwhile the Galaxy S/S2 CSC app recognized somehow that my vendor code is TGY, so this information is stored somewhere, but I don't know where... If I knew it, I could try to modify it with Root Explorer, since the device is rooted.
To tell the truth, I'm afraid of flashing BACKWARD a 3.2 ROM and bricking the tablet...
i think that your rom isn't multi csc, only roms with multi csc gives you the ability to change it.
maybe honeycomb 3.2 for your region will fix your problem, do some research here on xda to how restock your tab before flashing, I think there is some problems to get back to hc, but everyone managed to surpass it.

Hi do you know by chance which ICS ROM is multi-CSC? Maybe I could resolve my problem by flashing it and not downgrading to HC ROM.
Thanks
sorry mate, I don't know, i haven't upgrade mine to ics yet.

I fleshed the P6800ZSLP7 ICS ROM (HK, the same as my sales code) with the hope that it's multi CSC, and yes, it is, but ATO is not among the possibilities...
So still no solution for me...
i would suggest to restock it to Honeycomb 3.2, maybe later this year an ATO update will be available directly from Kies.
you can find the stock rom on sammobile. com

Exactly that's what I'd like to avoid! Honeycomb ROM was so slow, lacking the smoothness the hardware is made for, that don't want to use it again. Now I'm with the HK ICS ROM (P6800ZSLP7) that is a little bit inferior than the 2nd ATO ROM, but still works without any serious bug and at least matches with the vendor code.
And I hope that some time a developer or expert will find out how to change the vendor code....

Hello friends, I'm trying to fix up a GT-N8000 for a friend, it's got ZCBLL5 firmware on it(he got it from china somehow). It did not come with the play store(or any google apps), and since he's an apple guy, he turned to me for help. As it's not my tablet, and i haven't messed much with samsung devices, i don';t want to brick it, so i'm turning to the xda community for a bit of help. We're located in canada, however i see there isn't a canadian firmwrae for this variant. Which would be the best region FW to install, and would it mess up the 3g ability, like would it mess up the IMEI or the CSC. Or would i be better off to root and sideload/flash GAPPS? And would the 3g still function here in canada with the chinese FW. Thanks in advance
Well the german firmware is the one which is updated first so I would advice either the German one or the Nordic one, once you do that you will stop receiving OTA and will have to manually update. I am from India and have installed german and Nordic ones cell services just work fine. The issue with IMEI getting messed to my knowledge will happen only with custom roms.
Once you install any of these roms you will get gapps automatically
Hello everyone,
I live in the UK and got my Note 10.1 Wi-Fi N8000 for last Christmas from my brother who worked in South Korea. Everything was in Korean and I switched it all in English and everything works fine.
The thing that bugs me right now is that I would like to upgrade to Jelly Bean but nothing new is detected when I hit the Software Update button... Do you have any idea why?
Is it simply not available for me yet and should I just wait more? That would surprise me as I noticed that JB has already been deployed in many countries now, and 4.1.2 update seems to be on the way...
Or more likely in my opinion, does it have anything to do with my tablet coming from South Korea?
In any case, what should I do to get Jelly Bean?
For now, my Note is working under the original ICS 4.0.4, and is not rooted. I am ok with rooting my Note if need be but if possible, I'd prefer not to use Kies...
Thanks for your help!
root and update with odin to get the latest 4.1.2 check the step by step guides first though so you know what you are doing.

you can't update OTA because the firmware that you are using is of South Korea.. so the only way to get JB is to flash it... and don't worry everyone here don't use kies... we use ODIN...
what you shoud do first is download these necessary files:
1. Odin - the flashing tool
2. the firmware you wan't to flash
optional:
3. root
4. custom recovery..
here's the link for guides and downloads - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2080366

Thanks very much!
I would have a few more (newbie) questions still:
- Once I flash a new ROM, will I be able to get OTA updates or will it be never possible?
And actually I don't understand why using a South Korean firmware prevents me from updating OTA... How do the South Korean do then, they can't update OTA? If I got a South Korean IP by connecting to a South Korean VPN for example, would OTA updates work? Or am I totally wrong? :silly:
- About choosing the new ROM (I'll stick with the official ones for now), does the country matter or can I choose whatever I fancy? (I live in the UK right now but I'm from France so I don't know if I should choose one version over the other)
- And one last but not least thing: as my Note is from Korea, my device model is actually SHW-M480W and is not like N80XX.
As it is Wi-Fi only, it should correspond to N8010 but are you sure that flashing a N8010 firmware will actually work?

Ans
Don't be worry.
I live in Taiwan but I can flash even German version( I've tried before)
This firmware is the latest. I think your version is older one. Samsung released several version to make it stable, so the latest version is the stablest version and it will also add some new features.
Actually, all S7500 firmware is suitable but you have to notice that your area.
Because I found I flash German 2.3.6 stock firmware and I cannot have stock Chinese keyboard in it.
Flash your country version is the best choice.
p.s. if you flash from a custom rom, don't forget to back up data you want and do factory reset. it will make your S7500 work like a new phone
thanks a lot
