Officially? Most unlikely.
Team Venom is porting Sense4+ to Sensation and it's still in beta tests. We might have it in a near future. Expect a far future for Sense 5
Maybe after devs port 3.4 kernel it'll be easier.

I think it'll be possbile if the One S gets it. Otherwise it would be one hell of a job to port.
One s is getting sense 5 so it vll b ported to sensation have patience we will get the tast of jb with sense 4.5 thanks to viper n later also the tast of sense 5

The only way you can do a sense based miui is if its ICS. Which isn't worth trying, or if we port from a jb sense miui.. Which I don't know if there are any. Haven't looked into it.
And they mean the international One X. No love for this phone

No, it was the original miui thread that linds started. For a while, IIRC, she had it on a Sense base.

How come it has to be ICS? Since the sense source is available, the 3.17 from telus. Im just doing wild guessing, will that be enough?

Sense 5 is based on JB, which is NOT available for the sensation YET, haven't you seen the CAMERA bug under TeamVenom's ViperS JB with Sense 4+? Well that's due to lack of ION for our kernel, and TeamVenom is currently working on it. So whenever Sense 4+ is ready, it'll be much easier to work on Sense 5.
I was wondering .. Why can't someone port a sense 5 rom ? Htc one s has a lot of sense 5 roms that work perfect. like we got the sense 4 roms ported from one s .. i think we can do the same for sense 5 ..

How do you know someone isn't already porting?
I might be wrong but I think ivicask is already porting. It's not a day or week time work. We should just wait or learn how to port and do it by ourselves.
Ivicask i think is already porting it i saw a video preview on YouTube it is not stable yet icon spaces too big etc

Is it possible to port sense 5 (or even 5.5) stock music player into htc one sv? For example from the desire 500 system dump, which has same resolution and same android version as the SV. If so, i would try on my own, which files should i port?
I saw that the camera from sense 5.0 has been ported, so I guessed that in some way it's possible to port even the music player...
Guy! About 4 weeks we can get real Sense 5! Porting it will take lot's of time. Wait for the release!

no dream crushing coming from me, LlabTooFer has posted that the sv is for sure getting 4.2.2 and sense 5.0 so I have no doubts about the update coming.
I'm just letting everyone who thinks that is the actual update know it's just the kernel source for 4.1.2 k2_cl

As the title states, I would love to see a sense 5 ROM ported from one of the newer Desire series (300,600,700 etc) to our ageing Desire S.
a willing tester here if anyone is up for it.
I can see there is one for the Desire HD which is essentially the same spec as our device.

I really want to do some porting for the Desire S, but I don't have one. I already ported Carbon 4.3, but I had to end that project because of the lack of a testing device. If anyone has a Desire S they don't want anymore and they are willing to donate it to me, you can expect a lot of Desire HD roms to come to the Desire S.

Porting sense 5, there is one major problem and thats why id say no one has already tried, sense 5 is jellybean so we would need a new kernel to support sense and jb, im not sure exactly but the main issue would be the kernel and i think @kylon (kernel dev) doesnt have a desire s anymore either and he was prob our best bet for the kernel.

yh would be good coz theres not really much happening on the ds recently, most devs have moved on
Why don't you look out for a damaged one and get the parts from parts4repair.com ?
I find the DS one of best repairable devices I know so far.
All you need is a T5 and a PH00 Screwdriver and a guitar pick for some things
If you need some internal repair documents, I can provide you with some.
mygamers seems to be working on a Desire S Sense 5 ROM.
Considering he made a very good Sense 4.1 Lite ROM I am looking forward to his version.

He hasn't mentioned porting it to the desire s, and seeing as we don't have a kernel capable of running jb+sense, I think it's highly unlikely that it ever will get ported.

More like not even started. Again, we would a kernel for sense 5 JB, untill then, keep dreaming.
