My daughter has a Cube U8GT with a stock rom, It is working fine, but it is not in english everything is chinese (or similar). She is very ill and we would love to get this tablet sorted for her soon.
Does anybody know what how to put a rom onto this device that is in english.
Please help if you can.

Hi all, a freind of mine commited the ultimate sin and paid MORE for a Samsung i718 (WM 5)than I paid for my HTC Hermes...and the OS in CHinese. He's called Samsung HK and TW and neither will help him, anyone know where I can find an English ROM for this device? Are there tools out there to dump the ROM from another samsung? Is he totally boned?
I know it's not the perfecdt place for this question but I can't find anything about moding this phone or any ROM downloads. Thanks in advance to anyone whyo can help me!!

Although I didn't actually commit the greatest sin myself, I have one of these phones and now need it in English.
My wife's father sent me one from China. NOWHERE in the system options does it have a place the select English language. This is the only phone I have ever seen from China that doesn't have English! NUTS!
Now, I'm not too savvy with all of the lingo being used on this forum but SURELY there must be a way to install the English version of WM6 onto this phone. Can someone please explain my options to me? I feel useless without this phone in English!

There is an english rom for I718 (althrough I718 is a chinese variant of a I710). It called I718ZMGF4 and meant for I718+ (WM6 mod of i718). Works fine on both I710 and I718. Links: PDA part, GSM part. Note: gsm part of firmware must be flashed with special flashing cable (suitable for Samsung D800, D820).
That's AWESOME! Can someone please explain how I would do the installation of the English ROM? Please keep in mind that I am a total noob and have never done this before. The most I have done before is update the firmware for my sony ericsson, but that was using their update service.
If someone could write a little step by step, or even point me to a thread about flashing phones, that would be awesome. I am just afraid I will brick the whole phone.

First I want to say , i'm french and not english so it's not easy for me.
If I'm here it's because I can't find the solution myself and believe me a try a many times.
Well I install the Android 2.3.7 on my HTC H2 and everything work perfectly.
But i just can't synchronize this version with my computer,I try but I doesn't work
Oh yeah and one more thing ,I have a big problem with my camera too.
The android ask me if I want to switch one the face camera ,I say "yes" but it's was an error because I don't have a face camera on my phone and now it's not working anymore.
And this is why I'm here in this forum.
Does no one know how can i resolve my problem or where I can find a better version for my phone

Important note: MTK8377 is the upgraded version of MTK6577, mainly used in Tablet PC. 8377 runs faster, decoding faster and has better performance of the dual-core and supports online HD video, booting time is only five seconds.

First of all, hello everyone. I am new on the forum.
I have just bought one of these tablets, MTK8377 with dual simcards and some other stuff.
(Was about to post a link to it, but the forum is blocking me from doing so. It can be found on anandasy . com under MID/Tablet pc, and then top/right-most tablet model 8377HD).
Does anyone know if it is possible to install CM10 or vanilla Android on this tablet, and also, if it is possible to change the boot loader.
I managed to get in to the boot loader, but the problem is, it's completely in chinese so I don't understand anything from it.
The main reason for wanting to load it with another rom is because it doesn't seem to have my language in it (swedish).
For me personally this is not an issue, but for my mother, who wants one of these, she'd like to have it in swedish since she does not understand english well enough.

first, i´m really sorry my english isn´t that well
so, i do have a old nvidia shield tablet which had the problem with the battery, so it got changed. The new one i sold cause i didn´t use it anymore, and i kept the old one. Now i want to root it so i can use it again but i can´t find the right guide for it. so i hope anyone can help me to give me a link

I know its very old phone, but its my bros phone and hes a little kid and he dont need anything good. But default android version and theme ir horible. I alredy rooted phone but i cant find any custom roms for ir. Is there any? I prefere 5.0 android version. But give me anything. i just want stock android, not that horible theme.
