The purported pictures and video of the Samsung Galaxy S4 that leaked over the last week may be closer to the actual device than we had initially imagined. In a new set of pictures released by Chinese site it168, we get not only beautiful photos of a similar device, but beautiful photos of a device that might be the real deal.
The phone in these pictures looks very similar to last year’s Galaxy S3, but there are subtle differences here and there that Samsung will likely push. You can see textured finishes, a more polished gem-like home button, one hell of a vibrant display (1080p Super AMOLED?), massive centered camera and flash (13MP?), lower speaker, and a silver band wrapping the sides.
The Chinese forum with the device is reporting that it’s running an Exynos 5410 Octa processor clocked at 1.8GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. This is the GT-I9502 (same as previous leak), weighs 138g, measures 7.7mm thick, includes 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage with a microSD slot and is powered by a 2600mAh battery.
But beyond specs, the device apparently has an S Pen-like feature that we have seen on the Galaxy Note 2, though it doesn’t require you to use an S Pen. It involves your finger hovering close to the display without actually touching it. In places like the gallery, Samsung will allow you to hover your finger ever-so-close to the display to see a pop-up preview of imagery. This identical feature is already in the Note 2, but again, requires the S Pen. This feature appears to work the same without a pen.
If this is indeed the Galaxy S4, we’d love to hear your final thoughts. We are less than 24 hours away from its unveiling, so give it to us!

I am wondering what are the marks taking place on each side of the home button...

We have been hearing a lot about Samsung’s upcoming smartphone called the Nexus Prime. The handset, said to come powered by Google’s latest OS Android 4.0, is again in the news as part of the run up to a roll out date. If you remember, we had sometime ago spotted the device carrying the model number GT-I9250 with a Wi-Fi certification. The latest is that a support page for the GTI9250 has come up on the Samsung website. The funny part is that the page is almost blank. Also, a leak has brought to the fore a few specs of the phone.
If you head for the page here, you will be able to see tabs that have Downloads, FAQs, How-to Guides, and Troubleshooting features. In case you are looking for some details on the phone, let us tell you there’s nothing about the device on the page you are looking at.
Leaked specs of the phone have revealed a 4.65-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720. The device would come with a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 5-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording.
We just hope the Super AMOLED technology will be integrated with the display as Samsung has been offering that in their latest devices. The 8.8mm thin handset enclosed in a metal chassis is likely to come with the curved display – something akin to what its predecessor, the Nexus S, had come with.
It is believed that Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS will be rolled out in October. Chances are that the Nexus Prime would come powered by the new version of the OS.
In addition, the rumored specs and the latest blank page of the smartphone hint that we can expect a soon release of the Nexus Prime during the same month.

Really looking forward to seeing this phone and what new features ICS brings to the smartphone table!

hmmm, i hope this is not SGS 3!!
I too think that its fake...But we never know if it comes true....from last few months this phone is creating a great buzz.
Lets hope for the best until it finally comes out.
Sure it's not beautiful
I'm not really sure it 's a fake
We will have more rumor/Buzz soon i think
PS : 681 RAM for use ~= 1GB RAM in the cellphone
check: youtu.be/3Ei61wWOr4w
Best fake ever.
seem s3 have 1,5g ram
Turn on captions for English subtitles.

With English subs.....
Keep in mind that the case is actually a dummy case used to disguise/protect the real design of the device while testing.
i kinda like it. nice slick design. i doubt anybody will renew the look of these smartphones anytime soon. and if its fake then a nice one.
so its basically a galaxy S2 with a faster processor and a better screen?
Does anyone believe that this is a notification LED in the first picture? This would be so great!!
But the Camera shots are extremly crappy, the GPU is a great letdown, but for a mid range device its too big and too well made with a quad core AND a 720P OLED Screen. this should be the real deal, a shame
IT is called galaxy s2 plus and not s3
After thinking about it, you are right
But then, will the Galaxy S3 have a notification LED and removable bettery and SD Slots?

The folks at Gizmodo Australia have got their hands on what they're saying is training material for the soon-to-be-released (we hope) Nexus tablet. They're saying the tablet will be a 7-incher built by ASUS and be debuted at Google I/O this week just as expected. The specs are also pretty close to everyone's guess:
7-inch 1280×800 IPS Display
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean (not confirmed to be 5.0 just yet)
1.3GHz Quad-Core Tegra 3 CPU
NVIDIA GPU
1GB RAM
8GB / 16GB Internal Storage
1.2MP Front Camera
8 Hours Battery Life
Wi-Fi a/b/g/n
NFC
The materials suggest the tablet will go up for sale in Australia sometime in July, so we expect it in the very near future in other places on the globe. Source : AndroidCentral
That leaves a few things left to wonder -- will it come in white? And what's the reason to buy it over any of the other Android tablets out there. We're half kidding about the first bit (although it would look very nice in white), but for the second there is one thing we know of to make it worthwhile -- updates direct from Google, with no carrier or OEM bull**** involved.
If you want an Android tablet, that's the one to get. If you need a reason to buy an Android tablet in the first place, we're hoping to see one this week at Google I/O.
Did you really trust Gizmodo?
I would like to see an SD slot and HDMI. I could see them leaving out HDMI to try to cut costs, but no SD slot is very Apple like and they did it with the Galaxy Nexus so I wouldn't be surprised.
I refuse to buy a device without expandable memory, my Touchpad was the exception since it was on the fire sale. There are plenty of free cloud services but data is expensive. microSD cards are cheaper and more reliable for storage than the cloud.
This could be real, given the way pictures were taken showing all the views. Unless they've covered it with 2 layers of plastic to hide the titanium coating :cyclops:

Samsung has upgraded its Galaxy Core smartphone with a newer model – the Galaxy Core Advance. (GT-I8580). The phone features a revamped design with a “soft feel” coated back cover and surprisingly comes with a physical set of menu, home and back buttons along with dedicated keys for voice recorder, camera, volume, menu, home and power functions.
Samsung says these can prove useful for users who aren’t that comfortable with the touchscreen interface. The Galaxy Core Advance also comes with enhanced accessibility features for the disabled and visually impaired users.
Some of the features include Optical Scan that automatically reads the detected text on the image aloud, Light Sensing technology that uses the device’s camera to sense light direction and brightness, and Instant Voice Recorder that offers simplified access to make quick voice notes. The device is also equipped with Screen Curtain that enables users to operate commands on a black screen to ensure privacy and saves battery life, high quality TTS (Text-to-Speech) functionalities and Voice Guided Camera functions to help users take pictures by reading out the number of faces detected and their standing location.
The Android 4.2 OS supports HSPA and features a 4.7-inch WVGA TFT Display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP camera and front-facing VGA camera, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot up to 64GB, 2000mAh battery.
Galaxy Core Advance will be available in Deep Blue and Pearl White from early next year.
