[Q] Can Xperia U 6.1.1.C.1.0 be rooted?

Hey Guys plz answer my question. I have jsut bought my new Xperia U 6.1.1.C.1.0 and i am not sure if it can be rooted. I have seen Bin4ary's post with his software but i want to ask if i can root my phone using this. So can i root XPERIA U 6.1.1.C.1.0 using Bin4ary's rooting software?

Yes I think so buddy,it is not necessary to unlock bootloader.but I saw in many places that 1505 with a particular firmware won't let you root.
But just give srs root a try..most probably it will work

I tried with SRS Root and Eroot and it didn't work. Finally i did it with http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2409525 with sucess, had just to turn off the windows security because of the install of the drivers needed for flashtool.

unfortunately No way, yet.
personally I think Sony will available it through Xperia Theme option in firmware updates soon.
But you cannot do it without root access.
you should root phone and flash font.zip flashable pack through recovery.

Rooting Sony z3 will lost some functions, I feel it is not fair for we paid for that phone.

You will not lose any features by rooting phone. You will lose if you unlock your bootloader

[Q] Is possible root the Xperia C3 (D2533) with bootloader lock?

Hi,
I've been testing various methods on how to root my device and none have worked for me.
I've also read that in some devices it is possible to be root without unlocking the bootloader.
My question is: Is the Xperia C3 can do the same? or in some special way?
I have this device about 3 months ago and want to be root, I'm bored of the limitations of Sony.
Besides as my device and I have permanence can not apply SimLock code later to make the procedure of unlocking Bootloader.
I wish someone please make a method because I'm desperate.

no, it is not possible (yet) until you first unlock bootloader, and then you can root you phone, for that, read what i said above
