does somebody is working on a CM ROM for the Acer Liquid Gallant duo E350 (duo for dual SIM) ?
It's an incredible and cheap middle class phone, under ICS 4.0.3 with a MTK MT6575 single core processor. The OS is very closed to the original one with a very thin overlay from Acer.
The modaco team has already rooted it, BUT ... I'd love to use a Cyanogenmod ROM for him, it seems that your ROMs are the best
We are a lot of happy owners which are waiting for it, and we are just answering if it could come a day, .... or not.

Yes, this might be fantastic.
Moreover lots of people are acer gallant duo owners.
It could be very usefull to work on an Acer gallant CM

Let me tell u until kernel sources dont think for cm.. and cm doesn't support duel sim phone..
OK if we can't have CM on Gallant Duo you think we can have Jelly Bean ?
There are already Rom with 4.0.4. on the Gallant Duo

Forget about ICS Rom. It wont happen.
Either with CyanogenMod or any other.
If you want the best Rom i suggest Sherpya Gingerbread Rom.
- Better interface that stock
- Comes with custom Kernel (ext4 supported)
- Everything works great.
- Has some amazing options.
- Overclock Stable at the max. Of 794Mhz
Any more help with this Rom just let me know.

micromax has denied to release the kernel source they will not make it public..
so would it be possible to build cyanogen mod ona stock kernel without source ?
this phone got a GingerBread Upgrade by Cherry Mobile but the rom is very buggy and it reboots so many times..
there is a popular chinese forum they have ported miui rom for this phone but it also have bugs and it's core are in chinese language..
can anyone help ?

Hi All,
Have been busy with Acer for a few days to figure out if they are working on a Jelly Bean 4.1 or higher for our beloved E350 .
But the answer is NO.
Custom support has contacted Acer in Taiwan and they said that there are no intentions (yet) to upgrade the Firmware for the Acer E350.
Thou that the phone specs are good enough for running JB.
Sorry to bring this news but had to know it for myself.
PS....Soooo, Acer, a little support for the E350 owners!!!!!!!

so is there anyone who can port the mod on my device..
