[JB] [ROM] Ulefone Star N9770 rom for micromax a110

Hmm.. dont know y am posting again in favour with mmx a110 users
But here i come with a jelly bean rom of same resolution and 3.40 kernel version.
It is working by replacing cynus t2 jb boot.img. enjoy

This rom is based on i9300 mt6577 s3 clone and its specs exactly match with a110. but the rom is not tested yet. someone test it to confirm if its working.

Its unedited rom of MTK I9300 s3 clone
I flashed it But display its not showing only the 3 buttons backlight is on

I ll post link tomorrow coz on mobile now. And thats a gud news that micromax boot logo appeared btw i ll give u a new boot.img and scatter file. We ll try them out.
By modding these we might get jelly bean working

If u want to try this u would need stock from of a110.
And there a many of guides on how to flash stock. It would be flashed in the same way.
But a its not a proper rom its not worth trying unless ur a dev.:thumbup::thumbup:
Its ur choice now.

Most imp thing is zp900 resolution is qhd but in our dice no problem .that means we have to change resolution in boot.img to get jb .
So our great dev any way to change resolution in boot.img si we can get jb on our devices.

Actually its because 4shared doesnt allow it anyone can mirror it to mediafire it would be better bcoz even i suffer from slow uploading speed

If i add those kernels it wont work at all bcoz there is a difference in ics and jelly bean kernel nd second thing mediatek devices cant be bricked

I saw that many qhd roms run perfectly on A110 so i didnt compile any kernel just made few changes to make it work on A110

After downloading A89 ROM, SP Flash tool and MTK6577 drivers from Micromax FTP website, See this post for how to use SP Flash Tool.

Lethal rom update
The lethal rom would be a good alternative for stock rom because stock rom both v2 and v3 have heating problem and battery drain too.the heating is intense when plaing some movie in MX player.So go for custom rom and the nightly build for lethal rom is developing and I would suggest you that.

For backing up your stock rom you need to install CWM recovery through SP flash tool in your device.You can search the xda forums for a89 and you will get the download and follow the instructions to backup your device.

Go to cwm recovery and then in the options select
backup and restore >backup
U shoul have atleast 1GB of free storage on ur SD card..

Here Comes the Real Android 4.2.2 for MTK6577 Device from Amoi(Brand).

Dear All,
This is neither a ROM nor a MOD of BOND1987. Its only a helping hand to all developers who were earlier trying to port 4.2.1 ROM to our device.
I found this ROM through our colleagues on the XDA Forum of our device @a_swed & @icoolguy1995.
So I downloaded it, unpacked it with Android Kitchen and then I was amazed that its really a 4.2.1 ROM for MT6577 Device by AMOI N821 Device,having all specifications same as Micromax Canvas 2- A110.
So I de-odexed it.
I am here zipping the full de-odexed ROM + the original boot.img on Dev-Host. If any Dev need more files do leave a post here and the same will be provided within hours or a day.
To Users :-
Don't even think of flashing it. It's only RAW files with a Meta-INF folder inside.
To Developers :-
Don't worry All of you Sir. I verified everything that need to be verified for obtaining the reallity that Its 4.2.2.
I decompiled few apps also and all have

android:versionCode="17" android:versionName="4.2.2-eng.scm.1366200500"
In the first line.
Further prrofs are attached here as print screen of Android Kitchen De-odexing the System -app + framework and denoting it with the API of 17.
As I don't know anything related to the ROM Development so uploaded here so that talented Devs can have a look. I am only a themer and that also not so good. So please understand my situation. I promise that your data will not be wasted.
So now please Devs its time for you to put effort to bring us the 4.2 ROM for our device as we are eagerly waiting for this.
I really appreciate the efforts laid by all of the developers of this & every device forum. Hope to see some good ROMs based on the 4.2.2 for MT6577 Devices.

Very good news for Micromax a110 users..
I am unable to control my self to test this ROM..
yes it is working on MMX a110. once again thanks to bond you did a great job.
after getting some errors.. I sit throughout night.. finally able to boot..
initial review of ROM
- it is pure 4.2.1 jelly bean (not 4.2.2)
- everything is working perfect (but some tests needed)
please give me one or two days time I will make this ROM fully bug less...

yes this is a19 model firmware.. we can fix all bugs.. but it will take some time..

The back Key Problem can be solved in this manner-
Connect your phone to adb
say you want to install zip then clear cache
then first install zip.
type adb deboot recovery in adb
then clear cache

Now Every thing works fine with latest CWM & MIUI recovery

I dont think i need to mod FB app cause it will be waste of time as FB apk took a lot internal space,we can make it smoother but still it will take the same internal memory
