Yes. But you can check any phone hardware intercompatibility on the retailer's site, rather then asking it here .
Do you want to buy a standard HTC battery for XE? I suggest buying a Anker battery for sensation. It's stronger (1900mV) then a standard XE (1750mV) battery, and it's cheaper.

I know about the anker battery but here is h hungary its very hard to get one.Its just to much trouble.

The only differences are software-related (except for some colour accents), so everything that works on the Sensation also works on the Sensation XE, and vice-versa.

well that's a good news
I have been running with the EVO3D battery since my purchase back in June. 1720 or so?
So I'm unfamilar with current prices compared to an older phone/new release.
This is only said if price is a concern.
Enjoy,
I read somewhere that the sensation XE has a slightly larger battery (by 0.3 cm i think) .. can someone confirm this piece of information ?
EVO 3D, XE battery, Anker (sensation) battery and Chichitec (1900 sensation) battery works...
hope it helps
thank you all for clearling this for me i realy appricate it
beside im thinking of buying evo 3d battery for htc sensation

Htc sensation or htc Sensatio XE?

Good afternoon,
I'm thinking about buying an Android device to try and walk since the beginning of the month to choose one ...
I had seen on vodafone HTC Sensation, but a few days ago I saw that HTC released new models sesantion, including HTC Sensation XE.
Like to have your opinion on what I choose, in terms of quality and price, preference the phone that last longer without needing to change. have more support.
I have the chance to vodafone HTC Sensation for 350€ and Sensation XE unlock for 550 €
sesantion specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_sensation-3875.php
sesantion xe specs: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_sensation_xe-4164.php
witch one i choose?
Thanlks
There the same phone the sensation is undrclocked to 1.2 where as the XE is clicked to 1.5 the XE looks slightly better in my opinion and has a bigger battery, the headphones are also rrp£79 with the XE
The hardware is exactly the same, if you plan to custom rom take the sensation if not take the XE

I'm also still not sure if I should pick the Sensation XE or not, I sure like the red colors in the case

You're suggesting to pick the normal Sensation if he plans to install custom ROMS, why do you have the XE then and install CM7?
Because its cheaper... duh.

So for your experience for the diference of the price the Htc sensation is better choice than sensation xe? or the sensation xe is better and much preference of sensation?
Thanks
Get og sensation. With the money you save buy a bigger sd card and headphones of your choice then root and flash xe rom and bam you have beats edition for a lower price. However i prefer cm7 with dsp manager or power amp

Sensation (1st model)
I got the HTC Sensation -
now there's a Sensation XL!! (White!!) Goodness, I think HTC got APPLE virus, "What comes in black, must turn white!"
I agree with some users here. Get the Sensation & root it. But my question:
1) XE model & XL model have bigger internal memory I think. But the RAM is at 768Mb... that's quite unfortunate.
2) Battery life - yes they are slightly larger = 1,620mA (Can't we buy that as a second battery ? - I would. But my battery life looks alright for the 1st month (after rooting, but I realise the charging to 100% is very slow.) I reckon it could be the voltage or the plug. I actually use the old plug with the new Micro USB cable.
Comments?
That will be your charger,
The xe and sensation are the same phone.
The xl gas 1gb of ram a singlecore processor 16gb internal and a bigger screen

1GB RAM and 16GB internal? You sure, im buying it next week, all speces show 4gb(1gb usable), and 768 RAM, even on HTC web, gsmarena..and so...
EIDT: Sorry didint notice you wrote XL, its all OK
XL only supports 720p video recording and lacks a card slot. I have just got the XE and I'm super impressed with it.
i like my sensation don't think the other models are worth it.. unless you like red and the headphones...
I was always a Sony Ericson man, then got the Desire - fabulous!
Next I upgraded to the Desire HD and now have the Sensation XE - brilliant, fast, good looking. Great sound & free headphones. Amazing phone... go for it
Are you guys using custom roms on your XE? I should be getting mine in the next few days.

I have a bit silly question : Is there any difference between the Sensation XE smart phones from UK version and US version? or they are the same ones.
Thank you.
cm7 for sensation xe
Is there any stable cm7 rom for sensation xe yet?
if there is, where do i find it? in the ordinary Sensation forum?
mvh
daniel
sensation XE
If they are built with the same specs sensation cm7 should in theory work with xe version

How much better is XE battery for normal sensation

For those sensation users that have put in XE battery (i.e. 1730mAH instead of sensation 1560mAH one) how much extra battery time have you found ?
i personally don't have a XE battery but a friend of mine says he gets like 2-3 hrs more than with original one under same usage. moderate that is.

Have you used one of these? I got one yesterday and it seems like it wont charges past 99%. Anyone else experience this?

My anker is great . One it hits 99% it takes a while to hit 100% but it does... I think it is more due to the faulty sensation battery meter.

New HTC Sensation Battery

I've had my HTC Sensation XE for a while now and I'm looking to buy a new battery for it as the stock one isn't exactly great. I was just wondering whether I should get an Anker 1900mAh battery or a Saner 1900mAh battery. I've heard they're both good but just wanted to know if there was any big stand out points between the two.

Well I ran my phone down today and got 3 hours 7 minutes with max brightness, screen on the entire time, phone actively being used the entire time. Didnt take a screenshot but those were the exact numbers.
I'm recommending Anker, it's much better than stock, but there is one thing... This batter does not have chip needed to secure phone from overheating

I've used both as my anker fried out but that's was just bad luck I guess, both the banker and saner seem to have identical battery life, I can't really tell the difference
"use the thanks button every time you get an answer, even if its one you don't like! you ungrateful **stard"- Xda 'you are a noob video'
One thing tho whit those batteries no sensors to tell real temp of battery :/ but if you want a reallly good one but expansive : Mugen.

Thanks guys
Just one last thing, the Saner says "The battery has an integrated microchip, Over-charge/discharge protection, over-current protection" whereas on the Anker it says "Built-in protection circuit to assure safety under all circumstances."
Is there any difference between the two of them?
I currently use my 1900 Anker battery and the performance has been amazing. I am currently running shnizlon's sense 4 rom and most of the times I can easily get through a day to a day and a half with moderate use. I normally have the screen set to it's lowest brightness level and 2g on instead of 3g/4g. I noticed this helps battery performance greatly. I highly recommend it.

what do you mean? battery will overheat and how?
+1 for Anker. Bought my Sensation from marketplace and have been using the Anker in it since day one. No problems with overheating and battery life is excellent. Gets me through an entire day no problem.
If you are concerned about the temp sensors, there are HTC batteries for other devices that will fit. I believe the EVO 3D battery works and is in the range of 1700mah. Take a look at this thread for a real good discussion:

Well music/videos/games drains battery no matter what.
Anker suppose to have better quality and ~25% more capacity then the stock battery.
Hope that answered your concern

[Q] HTC Sensation XE Battery in HTC Sensation?!

Hi. I wanted to know whether it is possible to use Sensation XE's battery in Sensation?? Do they have the same dimension? Will it be OK? Because I can't find anker battery in my country and I rather buy XE's stock battery than Sensation stock battery because of higher capacity! Please answer if you are sure! Thanks.
