2.3.4 xxkpg rom issues

many days ago i just flash xxkpg rom gingerbread , then i install alienmod theme and all works pretty cool 4 me , im in caribbean area (puerto rico) everything was working fine, im an athlete and i found out that i have gps issues since tha day i flash this rom , it f.c. the calculator too, but my fit looks great, it feels so much faster, well everything good but that

Just switch to another ROM! Kpg Rom that you have is very buggy !!.. I'll suggest to install XXKPL ROM or KWQ2 ROM ....but i think XXKPL is much better ..you can also install a custom ROM FITDROIDv2.0 on XXKPL ROM...and its really fast and great!!....search for it in the development section!!....

Yup!....1st you have to flash de-odexed KPL ROM using odin.. And then flash CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY via odin...and then you can simply flash FITDROIDv2.0 custom ROM via CLOCKWORKMOD RECOVERY (using only your fit,odin not required!)...ALL THE FILES ARE THERE IN THE «FITDROIDV2.0» thread in the «DEVELOPMENT» SECTION...BEST OF LUCK!!

do i have to take sim card and sd out off the phone while doing this cause 4 the xxkpg the instructions says that need to gaet the sim and sd out off the phone, same with this, or i leave the sim card and sd card inside phone while the process?
p.s. the fitdroid rom its 2.3.4. ginger or 2.3.3?

Yes, you need to take out the sd card and sim card , as there are chances that they might get corrupted!
FITDROID IS A CUSTOM ROM WHICJ WORKS ON XXKPL (android 2.3.4) firmware...i have already told you the steps to flash all the things in the above post! . go for it!

any roms for 2.3.6?

i just joint this site and have been searching for roms which i can root to. my phone is currently running 2.3.6 DDKT1. if anyone would just give the link of a ROM which will work on my phone i would be thankful.

all ROMs are gonna run fine. Some good, the others better.
just go to the development section and find a ROM that suits you. Follow the Instructions and you'll be fine.
Try using a program such as ROM Manager, and you'll be screwed.

i see that ur currently using RazaDroid v1.0 at 801MHz. how do i also get it? im new to this so how do i root my device to ur ROM? and is 801MHz stable??

yea thats my point of creating the thread. i wanted to know which rom i can flash over my 2.3.6 DDKT1. in other roms they mention to flash only over 2.3.4!

hi there all, i tried a lot of roms but always with some bugs, i want a rom that is total correct, with a good battery life and no bugs in it. I want an answer that tells how to flash it step by step and thanks for everything.

lol dude im still on the titanium rom,.. 100% no problems you still havent told me what you had go wrong in our little convo .
Lemme know it could be a simple fix the dev's who made titanium cant answer all

Hi there. Download cleankpurom from dev section.
1. Flash kpe with odin
2. Flash kpu with odin
3. Download cf-root universal (amit bagaria) and flash with odin
4. Go to recovery, insert the rom in the ecternal sdcard and go to the option install zip from sdcard an ther choose the downloaded cleankpurom.
5. When finish reboot
Is a bugfree rom with good battery life. Hope it helps

If your in XXKPU root first using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056 then copy the poseidon rom in sd card http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331842 then go to CWM recovery install zip then choose poseidon rom. after that download the v9 kernel here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357747 then follow how to flash it. Guide is inccluded there.

Isn't kpq as a base before proceed to Poseidon rom? I already flash Poseidon rom with kpu but when u dial *#1234#, the baseband is unknown

Yes its based on XXKPQ but i tired it with KPU before coz i read that its better w/ KPU.
EDIT- but if you encountered some bugs repeat the method til XXKPQ then flash poseidon.

Because standard rom is clubbed with lots of applications which are useless and not only take your space but ram too.....most of the custom roms are stripped version and available only after rooting...which will help you to get 'administrative' rights as in case of windows PC.
so you can even decide initial start up !!!!

the design of the stock rom makes me flash it again..

I do it just for a change and to try out different features and looks, that custom ROMs provide. JMHO

Install Bam kernel 14fix, it looks like you rooted from a valuepack and that's why wifi broke.
And no, all ICS roms currently used are for developers and are in no way fit as a daily driver, all of them still contain video recording issue and lag issues.
Just use custom gb roms for the time being if you want a completely stable rom.

i flashed with PDA_BCK_CF-root_universal_beta14fix and now wifi is working thnks
now if i want to install other custom firmware what should i do install zip file and copy the same to sd card and reboot to revocery mode or via odin or still i need to do something else before

Can't Install Custom ROMs

hi guys.
I have problems when installing certain custom ROMS using CWM acording to the Baseband used.
Don't Know why, but when I wanted to install VURRUT KPU again (i had done it several times) Screen keeps on the first image of SAMSUNG SCL I9003 and nothing happens.
I tried to use another custom ROM based on LF2, and when I install it via CWM, it does the same thing, the only difference is that the phone reboots and comes back again to the same SAMSUNG screen.
My phone is galaxy SCL I9003L but i've never had problems installing those ROMs.. It's very strange.
Please if someone could explain me if there is a reason why it's happening this, tell me, i'm a bit scared, using Stock FROYO I9003LUBKB1.

i've been in froyo, GB , ICS and JB.. i know how to flash roms and pass from one to other..
But my problem is when I try to Install VURRUT KPU or MASTER ROM LF2..
I had used VURRUT's before with no problems, but not now, and that is my problem.. I don't know why

Oh so ur phone is i9003L!
I think u can try the qwerty Rom, as far as I remember once LoSco (rom dev) told that his rom can also be used for Argentine version of SL i.e; Galaxy SL i9003L.
To confirm, just ask in that thread once then go for flashing it if he says yes.
