E: Can't open /sdcard/gapps-jb-20121011-signed" (bad)
Installation aborted.
Please tell me what to do...I'm a complete noob and this is the first rom I flashed...

Hi Guys,
i was trying to upgrade the rom of my jasjar while updating i lost the orignal rom too.meanwhile the update version was croupted and i couldn't get any thing.now my jasjar shows me only "serial and v" in black screen mode.i did hard reset many times but failed.pls pls guys help me how can i get my real rom back.?
as i download many roms from this forums as others friends sent me but failed to get any good news.

Just re-flash it to another "working" rom.. But first,,make sure you've done CID unlocking steps...

i just watched this video about unrooting my phone ! and download the nandroid whatever backup which was made in 2010 (GB)! my phone was running on JB 4.1.x
followed the instructions ! restored the backup ! and my phone went totally crazy ! the navigation buttons don't work any more ! the lights do not appear ! can't update can't do nothing on the GB ! the OS boots up ! and after doing some simple tasks even the LCD goes off !
tried to install the manual update for JB that was posted here in XDA ! but i get this error !

Please provide more information. Like what phone model are you using. Are you trying to un root or root device. Did you want to install a custom recovery and flash ROM? Or we're you trying to return to stock?

I installed official JB on my S advance and wan to rot it. May I know where will I get kernel file for rooting it. I tried Shaaan root.zip. It worked fine for two days but den got an error msg "exchange service stopped working".
In this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660419 there is no details about DDLUP8 indian official release.
