Why don't you want to head over to the developer.android.com and check it out yourself?

Hi,
this is XXJPM for everyone. I have just updated via KIES and dowloaded the Image!
It seems that the update is only available in Germany at the moment.
The rom is multilanguage.
It is a clean image. It is just rooted.

Yeah, I look into zip file and there are 3 files. Could you tell us which file should be place where in odin? Maybe link to a tutorial.
I looked for 10 minutes in google but found nothing. I have flashed normal 'one file' and multifiles roms till now but all multifile roms I've seen had 4 clearly described files.
I'm guessing that this zip file is missing bootloader, am I right?

Currently I am extracting initramfs from the zImage....

Its inside the boot.img of Galaxy Fit ROM....
Kernel of G5 and GFit r different.... In G5 initramfs is in zimage and directly zImage is flashed.... But as in GFit v flash boot.img. So if u need zImage u need to extract boot.img and this initramfs is not included in zImage. After extracting boot.img u wil get initramfs and zImage....

BTW what software are you guys using to extract files from "boot.img"?
Hi all,
I have googled my problem, but i cant find a anwser
I am Trying to compile a Dual boot kernel for the Galaxy Note 2. i dont currently own the device, but i am buying it at the end of the year.
i am running ubunto 64bit 12.10.
i have extracted the ZImage from the Boot.img.
and i am trying to extract the initramfs from the ZImage.
i tried running the "xiaolu-galaxys2_kernel_repack-0d0ccaf" that i got off xda, but when i try and run the unpack.sh by double clicking it, and clicking "run in terminal", but the terminal just shows up very quickly, and then closes.
Could someone please tell me how i can Extract the Initramfs from the zimage, or how i can get the above script to run properly.
Thanks to anyone to help in advance.
Cheers
Corey

I have such a problem too ,still not find the answer!but I think you can have a try with repack_initramfs,it can extract some files on zImage file, but I am not sure because the program never stop and keep displaying number unless you press "ctrl+c" to quit it!I even used the tools what you said ,but it only created a directory and extract nothing!
