So my girlfriend owns a one x from At&t in the USA, I forget which forum I should follow for the root stuff so I'm asking which ROMs work for at&t one x users. I'm sorry for asking such a newb question but there's so many one x forums, I'm used to my one s... I mean I managed to get her phone rooted and twrp on it but that was some months ago.

Re: One x newb
Anything in this forum can be flashed. Don't flash anything from the one x thread, onex + thread, or the one thread, or any other forum. You are at a high risk of bricking your phone.

Flash it in recovery. If you don't know what that is do some research...

What would you ask a question in this section? Wouldn't it be better to ask a question in the questions section?

Cool! But this isn't a ATT phone so it doesn't apply to us. I would recommend posting this in the HTC One X ATT forum though.

We're trying to help you, in the XDA way. And what we're trying to explain to you is that if you need someone to hold your hand while rooting and romming your phone, you're not ready to root and rom. Because if you goof something up and get in trouble, you're going to have no clue how to get out of it.
It's not that I want some to hold my hand.. I've installed roms on my skyrocket but I never new HTC one x would be so different n harder.. What I'm trying to say is I'm not used to fast boot and twrp and cmd promt

I remember when I rooted a phone for the first time. It was my HTC desire. I distinctly remember being worried the whole time I was about to turn my lovely phone into a paperweight.
I read some stuff.
I read some other stuff.
I was confused, so I searched and read some other stuff.
Then I rooted my bloody phone myself, and thoroughly enjoyed a certain sense of accomplishment when it worked.
I'm now on my one xl. There was some confusion about the att and the "international" one x. Me being aussie, I thought I was international. Then I read a bit more, and learnt the difference between the chips on the two models, thereby avoiding bricking my 3 day old toy.
I now ask a few questions here and there, primarily about bugs or features of whatever ROM I am running. Rooting and unlocking and installing roms has been addressed more thoroughly then I believe anything else on this forum.
There is a lot of information out there, and heaps of help to be had on this site, but please do some of the research for yourself first, because I don't think you would have submitted this post if you had.

Not to be mean or anything, but two redundant threads asking for easily found info within a few hours of each other? Give people a chance to respond, and never make a new thread to ask the same question. At the very most, just bump the original thread if it's getting off the first page without any responses.

Oh, sorry about that then. Welcome to the One X forums!
On a side note, how did you know that it had been moved? I thought mods usually made a statement that they were moving a post.
