Interested in this mod
What I wanna see on Touchwiz MOD for Note are the ff:
1. 7 dock as what the OP said
2. Multi-density support
3. Able to customize icons
4. Able to customize Horizontal/Vertical grid numbers
Thats all...
I agree wholesale

If you're not really stuck on using TouchWiz then ADW launcher has 7 icon dock option (I use it).

ADW & Go launcher are very good launcher.
But I cannot use some of stock widgets with those launcher.
So I have to install additional widgets.
I would like to use Touch-Wiz.
I found an interesting app, CCLauncher ics style .
You can download it at

Sense 3.5, Android 2.3.5
Thanks for the heads up, but unfortunately a waste of time, very buggy and crashes constantly, but could just be my galaxy note

There is already another thread abouth this ccLauncher. I tried it and it is not very customizable. For example you can only choose asian cities for the weather.
Edit: Sorry my bad it was the ssLauncher i ment, but honestly it looks very very similar to me lol

Thanks I installed Apex
Heyy Peeps,
So we all love our SGN and those of us who are not rooted are still on Gingerbread and might not be loving the custom launchers that much .I for one am using Touchwiz 4.5 full time and wasn't that much happy with Go Launcher feel on the SGN... one of the things that i didn't like was small icons (dock icons especially) so decided to Mod the Go launcher and increase the size of the dock icons...
I have only done this to support the SGN users and in no way want to benefit from the Go launcher development .....
Do lemme know how it goes...Attached is the apk file which can be installed.
HIT THANKS IF U LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!

After witnessing the beauty of the stock Jelly Bean launcher on a relative's Nexus 7, I am desperate to get this on my Samsung Galaxy Note (as I personally do not see £200 GBP as a worthy investment for a mere 1.7" extra screen real-estate). Consequently, I am looking for a near-stock Jelly Bean launcher with capabilities to resize widgets to accommodate the extra space on this device's screen. I'd also prefer for the S-Memo widgets, such as the quick access bar, to actually work (Apex cuts off the edge of this widget). Nova is pretty good, but it doesn't seem all that smooth at time. So, anyone know of a launcher which fits this criteria but is also relatively smooth?
EDIT: Apex and Nova are okay, but I do not want to have to pay for unread notifications!
Any ideas?

Try Adw ex launcher. Runs really smooth as long as you use the default theme
Edit: sorry forgot you wanted a free launcher . But it's well worth buying

You can't go wrong with Holo Launcher, quick and highly customisable plus the Holo Lock Screen is the new Jellybean one.

Try atom launcher really very very nice and fresh.......

Nova Launcher, all Widgets are resizable, great dev. Holo is a good one as well but I still prefer Nova.. good luck.
Sent From My Paranoid Note Baby!!
1. Nova Launcher.
2. Apex Launcher or Atom Launcher
All mentioned launchers don´t support S-Memo widget, that OP wants to use.
Besides TW i don´t know any launcher that supports it.
sorry Brad, you cant have everything atm. if u want to use S-widgets, then its TW for you, if u want to resize, then its something else like Atom etc etc

Frustrated
Installed Holo Launcher as I really like this setup - but, I cannot add weather / clock widgets..
No more room on home screen?
What Grid settings are people using for this??
Weather works now but no clock!
+1 for nova launcher

I use Nova launcher now, as it allows me to adjust the widget sizes so that I can make all my widgets fit the extra width of the Note (I am OCD like that).

Same does Apex.
Apex gets my vote as the smoothest. Nova is good just not as good. Others are interesting like SS launcher and TSF but I am too lazy to learn those.
