recompiling wpa_supplicant for htc one s - HTC One S

hi
Does anyone know where I could find the source code for wpa_supplicant for HTC One S ?
Is this a straight AOSP version or is it an HTC special?
thanks

Depends if you are talking about an AOSP or Sense-based ROM as far as I know

It wont, VI is NOT an AOSP ROM, it was not built from source but is a senseless ROM that uses a sense RUU as base so it still has the sense framework whereas AOSP/AOKP/CM ROMs dont have the sense framework
sense4.5 in the camera interface I think that is more diverse and better quality.

you CANT make it work for AOSP, simply put...without the Sense framework or some serious dev skills, its completely useless

AOKP and sense camera.apk

can I use the sense camera on AOKP? I really like the battery life on it but I cant stand the camera
It's dependent on the sense framework. So, nope.

yes but make sure first that it is compatible with the rom you're running.

Short answer: no. Not now anyways.
...maybe if HTC releases an update for the One S. Porting from another phone than the One S would be a hell of a lot of resizing, as the One S is the only other HTC phone with an qhd screen.

One S with S3 processor (Ville C2) has already been updated, hasn't it?
That ROM is made for Ville C2 and has Android 4.1.1/Sense 4+ :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1910738
So, why would it be impossible to port on Sensation?
Edit : Thise one too :

I could be wrong, but I don't think it could boot on Sensation with our current modded kernels.
I think we're waiting for kernel source from the Ville c2?

Sense JB requires ION support from the kernel, and our kernel source doesn't have ION support.

OK, so you're meaning that RUU is needed (for kernel source) so devs can port it on Sensation (by modding kernel), right?

see, porting process needs the kernel source, which is NOT RELEASED INDIVIDUALLY BY HTC YET. (I mean the One S kernel source of android 4.1 that's why. unfortunately devs ain't able to get a kernel source inspired like a divine!

Sense based MIUI?? :D

I love MIUI rom so much, but I also love sense camera.
I am no devs, but was wondering if there are any devs who is willing to develop this rom? Considering MIUI v5 is coming soon for One X

The only way you can do a sense based miui is if its ICS. Which isn't worth trying, or if we port from a jb sense miui.. Which I don't know if there are any. Haven't looked into it.
And they mean the international One X. No love for this phone

There was a Sense-based ICS miui thread that was pretty active a while back.
Edit: Found it, but the Sense-based version is no longer linked.

No, it was the original miui thread that linds started. For a while, IIRC, she had it on a Sense base.

How come it has to be ICS? Since the sense source is available, the 3.17 from telus. Im just doing wild guessing, will that be enough?

Because their is no sense based JB miui we can port from, and patchrom doesn't support JB

Yes, it's a bug. Therefore it doesn't work on albinoman's ROM. In fact, I don't think it works on any 4.2.2 jellybean ROMs(other people should correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes, it's a common issue in 4.2.2 (Jellybean). All ICS roms should be fine.
