My apologies

I don't think it's even allowed to post things like that here. In some places flashing is illegal(actually flashing is illegal everywhere), and flashing your phone is also illegal in some places. Xda does not endorse this type of thing and I don't know if they'll allow it at all.

A different link for the same download, only to be used when the first link is down or if the first link is overcrowded. PLEASE, use the search function or google to find these answers, others won't be so kind and I definitely will not be so kind after this being the second time I've asked you to use the search function after answering your question. Chances are, your question has already been answered, if it hasn't, then you post a new thread.
That's why I posted this one cause if I would have found it I would not be asking

Honestly, not meant to be rude, but if you didn't find that answer on Google you either didn't look hard enough or didn't look at all. If you typed "what is a mirror link" or "what is a mirrored download" it would take less than 2 minutes on Google.

Is the imei the only way Verizon can identify a phone? What if I try to give my gs3 a different imei from another phone like the charge. Would my gs3 still work?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
This is illegal.
this is for educational purposes. I was just asking if it was possible.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
I am pretty sure they use the ESN to identify the device, not the IMEI.
Educational or not it is still illegal and will not be discussed here on Xda!
THREAD CLOSED.
Is there any 1 click root apps that are compatible with this device?

Judging by ur posts you seem to know your way around and act like you k ow what you are doing....yet you ask such a stupid question as this.....without any research or knowledge.....I'm pretty sure you ride this bus.

You apply for the position when they have openings (I believe)
Generally they pick people who have been on xda for a long time and have many helpful posts

There's a lot more to it than that, but those items are important yes. Thread closed.
I didn't see this posted anywhere so here we go.
Gameboid is a Gameboy Advance emulator for your phone.
This thing works amazing and passes the time.

I'm pretty sure this isn't legal on XDA... I'm no moderator, but I'd venture to say there'd be reprocussions for posting this here. Just my two cents.
If not, then thanks for posting kind sir.
Why would it be illegal?

I'm no mod either, but if neither of you own the games themselves, and they're not abandonware, Then no attachments and no links to pages with the stuff either is what I'd say but, Guess we'll see. Or maybe the post will simply disappear into the nether region of their server.

Like others have stated, unless you own the game, it's illegal to post download links to ROMs. The emulator is fine, but ROMs and the bios is not. I don't care either way because I love Pokemon (and plan on getting X and/or Y on 3DS when it drops), but somebody on XDA might say something.
Alright thanks guys. Removed the common denominators.
