Currently I have ext partition size of 512 MB can i increase it to 1GB ? Do I have to flash the ROM again.

No need to flash ROM
backup all data from ext-partition as well as primary partition
Use MiniTool Partition manager on PC.
connect your mobile via usb.
and resize the partition using MiniTool.
unplug your device and reboot it. Link2sd will create mount script for your resized partition.
Use fat32 or ext2

you already have a external partition.
If you delete that partition from recovery that memory space will remain unallocated (useless)
It is preferred to partition it from a PC
Am having some problems partitioning in PC.
Partitioning in Recovery mode is the same thing?

first you delete which partition you have ext partition then create extended (1gb) partition.

Boot into recovery mode -> Select advanced -> select partition SD card-> select 1024mb and swap 512 (or) 0.
wait and some time...
thats it.
first backup ur full data , because it will erase ur card fully.
Is there any script for increasing internal memory supporting FAT32 partition? cause when I rooted the phone I partitioned the 8 gb sd card with 2gb FAT32. If not, can I convert FAT32 into ext partition? How?
Use link2sd for fat or fat32. And you can convert this partition to ext by using easyus partition manager.
Hit thanks if I helped you.

Found the solution. Partitioned using the cwm recovery. Now I have 5.6 gb fat and 2057 mb as ext.
I had this strange issue with TWRP 2.4.1.0
the recovery doesn't work with sd card
Pico boots into recovery only without sd card Does anyone know why?????????
try reflashing the recovery....or upgrade to 2.4.4.1
This is because TWRP stores some data in the SD card, for theming, backups and restore etc.
Both TWRP 2.2 and 2.4 need the SD card to work.

Format sd card using card reader or any other method, then, insert the card, and flash recovery with fastboot. This might work...
P.S.: backup your data on sd card. :silly:

Try formatting SDext from recovery first. (After you go into recovery, insert SDcard and format SD ext partition only )
