[ROM][4.1.2][CM10][UNOFFICAL] d2vzw - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Let me start off by saying, this IS my first source build, so don't expect me to be able to answer every question/fix every problem. My goal is to make this ROM a smooth daily driver with good performance, while still maintaining good battery life. New builds will be released when I find the time, don't ask for ETA. This ROM includes the basic CM10 source kernel, however I recommend you consider trying the KT747 kernel, which can be found HERE.
If you don't know what CyanogenMod is, then READ.
Change-log can be found on CyanogenMod website, if I personally make any massive edits I will include that in OP.

Coming from clean flash from stock follow the tutorial here http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-3/how-to/guide-how-to-root-zenfone-3-ze552kl-t3471524 to root and install TWRP.
Then after you have setup your device flash the mod, clean dalvik and cache reboot.
You may have a smartcardservice fc pop up a few times but seems to stabilize after a few reboots.
This is beginners work but would appreciate testers. Not sure about other variants on know for ZE552KL

Well I can say the firmware is still in Alpha (not for daily use) ,required improvements, Do not forget to make a backup.
notes
1) during the first boot ,do not sign in your Google account, complete the configuration without it.
2) Go to "Settings> Applications> Google play services", set all the permissions.
3) Do the same thing-with the Play market application.
4) Open the market and now sign in your account, everything should work.

Hello there,
Please understand that I am only opening this thread to help activating the Redmi 4 Prime community with more helpful resources about the phone. One of them being this ROM, which of course isn't stable and ready for beta use, but is a good base for us 'markw' owners.
Warning/Notice: This ROM is not made by me. Not really sure who the original author is, this is from 4PDA. This is an unofficial ROM and is a badly ported one. Many things do not work, and I recommend not installing this for everyday use, but just if you're curious or plan to test some things out.
Phone, internet (wifi and lte) works fine most of the time. Calling is as good as LoS13. I think Bluetooth works as well, not sure if I tested that and the IR blaster.
What's NOT working:
Camera (only opens occasionally for me... most of the times the app crashes before the camera can be utilized)
Flashlight (once it worked, but after a reinstallation I can't get it to work again)
Fingerprint sensor.
CPU/GPU optimization. Rom feels good, but open a benchmark and see how much you're missing out!
Guide:
Do a factory reset with TWRP
Flash the zip over
Do not wipe dalvik/cache and do not install gapps yet
Boot, check it out
[*]Remove the chinese bloatware (disable in apps)
Install gapps and don't wipe dalvik/cache
Enjoy the testing

How to fix videos flickering in Facebook & Youtube on custom ROMs

FIRST OF ALL:
I'don't own this fix ,i just made the guide to help some people to go through it.
Original credit for the fix goes to @HASH
So here is how to start:
1-You will need a root explorer (Like MiXplorer)(Download Link:https://goo.gl/iNsGje).
2-Using the root explorer go to system/etc and delete file named media_performance_codec.xml.
3-Now download media_codecs.xml from here (https://goo.gl/2uCrZZ).
4-Replace the media_codecs.xml in system/etc with the one you downloded.
5-Reboot!
Imporatant notes:
-Make sure the media_codecs.xml file at the end have permissions (rw-r--r--)(See screenshots) otherwise you have to set them like this in file Proprietes and save then reboot again.
-This fix DOESN'T WORK with RR Nougat and LOS 13 (For some others it should be fine, but i'm NOT responsable of any damage occured try it at your own risks).
If i forgot something or a credit just tell me i will update it later.( @noman6999 i stole one of your screenshots )
