[Q] Problem flashing new rom - HTC Pico (Explorer)

I'm using ClockWordMod Recovery 6.0.2.8. I decided to flash S3 feel OS. I followed all steps in the instructions, and then flashed the ROM. The installation only carries on till 'Installing Boot Image'. And then it stops and says 'Update complete', or something like that. When I reboot, my pico gets stuck at the HTC logo.
After that, I tried to flash MiniCM9 and I'm facing the same problem. Does someone know the solution to this problem?
Any help would be appreciated (unless it causes me more problems :laugh.
Thank You.

Change recovery to Yannou. Then try flashing clean. Means wipe everything before flashing ROM.
Yannou is working great for me since I've bought my Pico. CWM gives sometimes error. I've used TWRP but was not good experience. Bootloops.. try Yannou

because you need to wipe(factory reset) when flashing different roms. when you upgrade the same rom, you dont have to wipe.
i have and its still not working do i need to wipe cahce to

wiping data(factory reset) should take care of that. wipe, flash rom, flash gapps(if needed), and reboot. thats all.
done all that still gets stuck at the loading screen
ok got one to flash i did a cache wipe to and it seem to work ty

I'm not sure why, but sometimes when I flash a recovery and reboot into recovery from ROM Manager, I get the same thing. But if I flash, then power off and boot into recovery using volume+powerUp, it works fine.

maybe try flashing it again after downloading the tar file again...
weird that installing CWM did the job but it may mean that some files replaced by CWM in recovery partition did the trick...?
Try reinstalling and report if the problem persists...
It worked. though i still didnt get why it happened.

No rom working

I am having a really weird problem on my Htc explorer.Never faced any like this. In twrp recovery some roms cm10 are not getting flashed. Installation stops with an error. While some roms like cm9 install but when they boot constant eroor occur like "android.phone has stopped working" and these errors keep coming so u can't use the rom. I flashed cmw, created ext 4 partition, also did so using twrp latest recovery but no luck. I am facing this problem and I am unable to even make a call using the phone. Please help me to solve this major problem///

"checking for md5 file...
Skipping md5 check: no md4 file
symlink:some sumlinks failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10-2012120
(Status 7)
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/cm-10-2012120"

are you wiping everything before flashing the sense rom?
Try fastboot command:
fastboot erase cache
Then wipe cache in TWRP.

This is a bug from going from touch cwm to twrp
You can either reflash cwm and stay on it or reflash cwm then flash a non touch cwm then flash twrp. Using fastboot erase cache after every recovery flash.

I nkow this is an old post. I hit the thanks button; clearly not enough so I had to post to say it.
THANK YOU!!!!!!
I know it sounds dumb but I search for 2 days before I found this and it work 100%!!! My phone is 100% working again! I can't thank you enough; I was really worried I messed it up because I had tried a "german 4.2.2" on it. It seemed laggy slow* wonder if that would be the recovery. But I got the RUU from HTC for my phone (4.1.1) done that and poof nothing working(your fix worked). still debating on trying the 4.2.2 again. It is nice has some cool features. But I know 4.1.1 works great.
Sorry got of track. THANKS AGAIN!

Try to install TWRP Recovery if that fials, then CWM Recovery
Do a complete data wipe from recovery
Install a stable ROM
Unroot your phone by following a good rooting guide
Now, root it properly

Heres what to do:
-Flash a recovery, TWRP etc. or stick to current recovery
-Download any rom, CM10.2 suggested
-Factory reset
-Flash Rom
-Flash Gapps
Relock the bootloader and then unlock bootloader again.
And flash yannou recovery first, and flash the stock rom and if u partitioned your sd card delete the partitions and create again(backup ur sd-card )
And then flash new rom
