Just got my hands on the Verizon Galaxy Note 10.1 SCH I925 and was basically wondering if anyone knows whether or not the root methods for the other versions of the Note 10.1 will work for this model?

I came upon a thread that talks about rooting and flashing CWM to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113, GT-P-5100, and GT-P5110 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1657056). The developer also mentioned that his rooting package also works on Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
I'm confused to what specific variants of GTab 2 7.0 are compatible with his root package. Has anyone tried using this method for rooting your device? What tablet variant where you currently on? And which weltwon's root package did you use, since he gave two alternative root packages.
Hey guys... I just picked up a Verizon Note 10.1 for school and I'd like to get an idea of what's out there for root exploits, custom recoveries, and ROMs.
I have the Galaxy S4 and I'm running Hyperdrive on it right now...Is there anyway to get Hyperdrive on my note 10.1 ???? I know they have it the wifi versions but I can't seem to find it for the LTE version.
Any and all help you guys can provide will be appreciated.

Most "Rom's" are hardware specific, but I am sure you can find a custom Rom that has the same features that the Note II or S3 have.
What features are you trying to get on your Tablet that is part of the Note ll or S3 firmware?
Don't think of it, every device has its own configuration, data and files to communicate with device. If you try of other devices, your device will be bricked and will be of no use :banghead:

I have a USA Wi-fi only Galaxy Note 10.1 N8013 with the UEUCIM3 ROM installed. I am selling the tablet since I bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition. I currently have a custom recovery installed on it. Is there a specific stock recovery for the above mentioned stock ROM? Can someone point me to it? Or is there only one version of the stock recovery for the Galaxy Note 10.1? I want to use Odin to put it on the tablet. Many thanks in advance.

I just realized that if you flash the firmware with Odin, it'll put the stock recovery back automatically.
Bear with me as I am new to how Firmware works. I've already rooted my Tab 3.
So I have a Galaxy tab 3 10.1 P5210XXUANB2, my question is can install other firmware like P5210XXUBOB1 on to my tab 3?
Thanks

From my point of View its not possible because changing Firmware is formed problem with kernel ,hardware and other things. So don't change the firmware .
You can try custom rom for your device. Like Cyanogen Mod and others.

It may work or not, depends on the phone. Is there a special reason why you want to flash another firmware region to your phone?
