I managed to root it using http://www.mediafire.com/?wvb2v914y0uddtj
Just run the .bat file and follow the instructions.
Note: Don't know if there are any side effects as I believe that was made for a slightly different phone but I haven't seen any problems thus far.

Hi. I recently got a phonetab and I found it came with some bloatware and built in apps that i wanted to remove but it required a root. My device is Quantum Q-Wave71M2 and i would like to root it. I found a tool called unlockroot but it needs a pc to work and i dont have one. Is there any other root app for unbranded tablets that will root directly from my tablet? Update: I found out that my tablet is actually from a company called Alps. So its an Alps Q-Wave 71M2. I am new to all this so please help me!

I recently had a cloudfone thrill 450q that i managed to root a few years back with some unknown chinese-language root software but i can't seem to find it. What's the most reliable way to root it and how easy would it be to brick this device. I've heard about using Framaroot or Kincoroot or a few others but I want to make sure that it won't brick the device first.
