Finally Here Are Steps For Rooting MICROMAX A90 SUPERFONE PIXEL

YES YOU HERE IT RIGHT HERE ARE THE STEPS FOR ROOTING MICROMAX A90.
FIRST OF ALL THIS IS NOT DISCOVERED BY ME.
IT IS DISCOVERED BY-

insane_subro from androidforums.
My purpose is to share it on xda and start support for micromax a90 on xda.
So go.
Enable USB debugging and attach the device to computer.
Download >>
1. MTK Drivers-http://dl.xda-developers.com/attachdl/00980d46eace935a37dd49ec8dac291d/507ba193/1/3/5/3/9/4/3/mtk.rar
2. Unlock Root-http://downloadcdn.betterinstaller.com/installers/9/9/UnlockRoot_downloader_by_UnlockRoot.exe : After Installing MTK drivers just install and run Unlock Root... It will ask istall drivers >> click yes.. It will try to root but will not be successful. This is just to install the ADB drivers.
3. Root with Restore Bi4ary-http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1369608&d=1349161572 : Just open the zip.. Click RUM ME.bat.. Follow Instructions. REemember if it says LOOK AT YOUR SCREEN>> JUST SEE THE SCREEN IT SAYS RESTORE.. CLICK RESTORE!

YES i have rooted it.
but still i havent installed asphalt 6.
i guess we will need to install chainfire3d for it.

I am really sorry Rishiraj..i was out so couldnt reply.overclocking is related to kernel ..we have to modify kernel for overclocking so for that we need some devs..
And for unrooting i am soon coming with unrooting process.
but if you want to unroot now i have a temporary solution that is delete superuser.apk from system/apps using root explorer and reboot your phone.
Now your phone do not have root access.

I just flash a Lewa rom on my A789. When I restart the phone, it just keep on booting. Dose anyone know how to fix it.

Be calm and do this.
Did u flashed any rom or any mod..after which the bootloops started.??
Pls post the screenshot,
Reinstall the rom u were using earlier from recovery or any flasher used for lenovo and wipe cache and data.
If u don't have the rom then download it. IMP DOWNLOAD THE ROM SPECIFICALY FOR UR DEVICE MODEL.DO DOUBLE CHECK THIS.
And post if u need any more help.

Have you gone through the development of custom Roms for Canvas 4 which was available in the url beow

I have obtained the CWM from the MTK Droid tool 2.4.8 which is 5.5.0.4
IKf the user know the use of MTK tool 2.4.8 to generate their own CWM and there own patched up Boot.img i read in this forum that the functioning of phone will be smooth.
I am interested to know, what is the version of the CWM, how you have obtained the CWM is it from any other source or you have used any special tool to generate it. I am a learner, and if the tool is simple enough to grasp then I thought I can use it in future for my phone.
I will be happy to see yur reply and learn.

I dont have A117 to test. Is fix permissions working? It may need in many roms when people flash patches which does not take care of permissions. This feature solves many problems.

can I use http://androtab.info/clockworkmod/rockchip/rk3066/ (generic cwm) recovery with lava etab xtron plus, I have successfully rooted the phone now it is the turn of recovey, and does the nandroid online backup require custom recovery? I was thinking about making a backup before installing recovery, also if it fails is there a chance of bricking?

hey, man, I'm not stupid even though I am relatively novice but I'm very much familiar with what does what and to what extent...I know that nandroid be cwm does a complete backup and is morereliable but the problem is I can't find the recovery image of my tab and I don't have the ba*ls to flash a generic rk3066 recovey, for now, I'm not doing a backup and not at all fiding with system files not even unnstalling bloatware just freezing them...:good:

That is the software crappiness I was ta link about in my review, lava engineers used mobile based is not tablet based that is why cell radio drivers are included...multiuser does not work here, I haven't tried it but I read about it in a review which was absolutely bang on Bout everything else from cell radio benchmarks

It is possible, I won't do it cause I am studying for IIT JEE right now :fingers-crossed:...Only ROM that I was able to find is in my guide..I will not really recommend to flash cygenmod or anything else as it can permanently brick!

I don't know...do you have titanium backup, if you do then you can click on the app then select actions pane then uninstall...or link2 sd can also uninstall

Here in the forum you can see that they have not given method to reverse it, if you had a wonderful backup the flash it or if you have got it working then you can simply delete other accounts... Best of get it working correctly you night have to delete provision. apk using root Explorer
