Hi Friends,
I am having Micromax A75, which is MT6573 having Armv6 running on 2.3.6 Android.
As this handset is not supported by Cyanogen, but i want to create a custom ROM for this handset.
I have downloded around 26GB of cyanigen source code repo and 600MB of kernel source.
I have build the kernel successfully. but i dont know what to do next.
1. From where to get running ramdisk? and to pack it with my zImage
2. After Step above, How to port cyanogenmod on my handset.
Please help me.

this is a work by a dev called ILMAN from another forum... "how to port MT6589 roms to MT6577 devices"
1) If you are porting 4.2.2 Rom then Take 4.2.2 as a Base Rom,Similarly for 4.2.1 Rom
2) Open your 4.2 Rom and Delete app,framework,media,font and build.prop ALSO Permission,Init.d,Theme Folder.
3) Copy App,Framework,Media,Font,Build.prop, Permission,Init.d,Theme Folder from 4.2 Rom of MT6589
4) Copy lib android_runtime.so, libandroid_server.so, libandroidfw.so, libmedia_jni.so from MT6589 Rom to Your 4.2 Rom
5) For Bluetooth Replace MTKBT (Located in App Folder) and All Bluetooth Libs from Your 4.2 rom OTHERWISE Bluetooth will force close.
6) Enjoy!!

this is the best way to boot any 4.2 without any problem:good: .... this method works like a charm....

Hello ! I have a cyanogenmod 11 unnoficial build for my K-Touch U86 (Karbonn Titanium S1).
The camera isn't working and I want to update the drivers that I think are in the kernel to get it worked.
I can decompile it but I don't know what to do next.
Is the driver in the kernel ?
Can I use a 4.1 or 4.2 driver in the kernel ?
Do I have to recreate the driver ?
May someone of you give me a tutorial ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,
My device is Coolpad Note3 with mediatek MT6753 64bit SoC running android Lollipop 5.1.1 . I like to port ROM for my phone from phones with same SoC and configuration ( Elephone P8000) . I searched xda and web for a proper porting guide or kitchen for lollipop 5.1.1 ROM porting but can't find any. So I request someone with proper knowledge to provide me with a noob friendly porting guide .

But its for kikat based Roms. Lollipop ROM can't be repacked in windows. Is there any possible method to repack system folder to system. new.DAT in windows??
