[Q] How To Flash Rom KA01_Xperia_SSpeed_testv6 On Sony Xperia Sola

I Am a Noob And It would be nice if sumone helped me flash the rom on my xperia sola via fastboot as there are on recoveries released yet

I Am a Junior Member therfore cant directly post on the Thread Plezz Help Me
I have Rooted The Device Using Doom Kernel Wht To Do Next ??
when i flash the zip i get the error of no android.txt and one more error

Open the phone in fastboot mode and tpye " fastboot flash system xperiasspeed.img"
the rom you downloaded must unzip to get the img file in flashing the phone in fastboot mode

To flash custom ROM's you must do this steps:
1. Flash the same firmware version which is your custom ROM is based on
2. Install DoomKernel
3. In some cases installation of prerooted stock firmwares is needed
4. Connect your device to the PC, rename ROM's .zip file into "update.zip", upload update.zip file into your SD card, reboot in recovery mode (eg volume up during DoomKernel bootlogo for SXS)
5. Backup, wipe data, wipe dalvik, factory reset
6. Install from SD card - update.zip
That's it

No Recovery For my Device yet But Got the Rom Via FastBoot

[Q]Need help for various problems faced during rooting and flashing stuff in Xperia E

I decided to root my mom's Xperia E and put CM10 in it. So I began. I first rooted with cydia impactor and put supersu manually and installed binaries. It was successfully rooted. Now when I unlocked my bootloader I faced a bootloop, so I flashed stock ftf and then rooted again. So now I have a rooted and bootloader unlocked xperia e. Then I decided to install cwm. I tried to do it using cmd prompt but everytime it would show <waiting for device> and then nothing happens (I booted in fastboot mode). After that I decided to put zeus kernel. In the download section, confusion started as there were 2 versions, for cwm and TWRP respctively, I tried the cwm one and flashed it using flashtool but then my phone's UI was like gone. I was only able to open settings app. So I decided to flash stock FTF and keep it in stable state for now. So what do I need to do to install cm10?

When it says <waiting for device> just follow these steps:
1.Turn off the phone
2.power off button + volume UP
3.wait to finish flash
If it dosn't work reinstall drivers.

Nothing much if you flashed Stock FTF recently then just flash Zues Kernel the CWM one, make sure you have the proper drivers to flash using flashtool.
Then boot up and go into recovery and flash the CM10.zip. Then you will need to flash the CM10 kernel. Its usually inside the ZIP named "boot.img"

[Q] to root or not to root

Hello,
1st.: while starting this new thread, I looked through the automaticly generated similar threads and found non that was suiting my problem.
Last night I unlocked the bootloader of my wifes Xperia L (C2105) and got stuck into an boot loop. After this I had the need to flash an original rom (4.1.2). This results in an total wipe of the phone :crying:
Now the phone has an unlocked bootloader and an old Android Version. I want to install the pacman rom 4.4.4. I know i have to use cwm or twrp to do this, but do I need to root the device?
I'm a little bit confused. I thought installing the *.img-File from TWRP, with the folloing command, will get me the recovery option an with this option

Can anyone help me out?
My wife is not upset, but with the boot loop from last night in my mind, I'm quit unsure what to do next.

you need to root the device and use flashtool by androxyde(Easier and user friendly), first download the rom and put it in internal/external memory and then install thunderzap 4.12 by select bootkk.img and install it in fastboot mode in flashtool, now enter the recovery go into wipe and format options and choose clean to install a new ROM and then flash the pac rom and reboot

Root isn't necessary.
Download PAC ROM, Take boot.img inside the zip.
Flash boot.img via fastboot.
Boot into recovery, wipe data / factory reset.
Flash ROM and GApps.
That's it

NOP, you dont need to root to install a custom rom

you can download the rom, extract it and keep, boot.img file, in fastboot folder, and also keep the downloaded rom zip file in sd card for later use.
than you can use use fastboot commands to flash those boot.img which will install the recovery into your phone, than .
use reboot command in fastboot, it will reboot your phone, take out your cable, using volume up key go to recovery,
there clear all the cache and delvik cache file, then, install your custom rom by selecting from your sd card, it will take a bit of time for first time, so don't worry,
than you are done,

Accidentally deleted system files - Xperia M2 D2305

I'm using lollipop previously and tried to root my device. I tried to follow the instructions on how to root it by unlocking Boot Loader. I accidentally deleted all the system files in recovery mode. Unfortunately, I don't have any back ups. Now my device is just restarting and stuck in Sony logo. I can still boot to recovery mode. I tried to flash the latest ftf but flashing always fail. Is there any way where I can install the OS since in recovery it says that OS is not installed. I'm using TWRP recovery. Many thanks for those who will help. I will really appreciate it.

just flash via flashtool

FTF can only be flashed via Flashtools as far as I'm aware it also restores the original stock recovery so you lose your recovery too
Just install Flashmode, Fastboot, and phone drivers (Phone driver can be installed using Sony PC Companion or going to device manager and manually doing it)
Then put your phone into flashmode and then open flashtools select flashmode and then put the ftf file in your directory where it can detect the file usually in documents .flashtool / firmware and then select the file to flash and wait
Don't untick/tick any wipe or not wipe box and just keep pressing yes unless you have a reason to press no

Question Device stuck in BootLoop - PLEASE help

My realme gt neo2 is stuck on bootloop, already tried OFP Flash but nothing, still stuck.

I have managed to get back to realme ui recovery, but not even if I format data, still on fastboot

is it on bootloop or just constantly restarting to fastboot? try flashing the stock rom with the twrp flashable stock rom firmware.

If I start the device, it goes on fastboot, if I click recovery it goes on rui recovery mode, but even if I format data and restart it does the same (start on fastboot)

hi, i have mine since two days.
1. unlock bootloader
2. boot in twrp with "fastboot boot recovery.img"
3. install twrp by press "install -> image install"
4. install magisk in trwp et boot the stock rom
5. restart in twrp and install elixir..A13...
6. reboot the phone with result of touch screen not responding
7. 8. 9. ....... try format Data, change twrp version, flash other rom with no succes.
Now i'm on elixir[A13] and will give a try at arrowsOS.
my solution if it can help you:

and try to remember whaat was the last android version you had on your phone.
2. download it and flash it with the little application, if it failed or stuck on "flashing ..." WAIT first 10min, disconnect your phone and reflash it with same method (i flash it three time and no one go to the end).
3. reboot your phone and if you're lucky, you can enter in.
4. make all updates for your android version
5. when you will be on rui3.0, you can remade the first step for playing with bootloader, recovery and recent custom rom.

I fixed the problem by using a OFP flash tool
The only thing that I have to do now is to upgrade the version of android (from 11 to 13)

there is one stock rom firmware that gives that problem, at least that's what happened to me previously or also when touch did not work it was when flashed custom rom on wrong firmware version, let's say rom required rui 3 c05 but I used rui 3 c07 which caused problems.

exactly. not really the first time for me. it can append when your recovery is out of date also.
i'm not a dev but interresting with for long year and i think flashing rom don't errase all that why we always need to flash custom rom according to our android version.
