You have two options. Rerun the hack kit or update through settings, then run the steps I listed in the long update thread to root it then install ROM manager and flash recovery.

I would not recommend a noob to follow such procedure.
It may just be one of the most complex tasks possible on the sensation.
I know it's not the answer, but an answer would require its own very large thread with tons pf details...

I think that UBUNTU is not for noobs. I'm not an advanced user, but I don't think that UBUNTU is a good idea for not advanced user that can be used on Sensation.
