turn off your phone, press volume up +home key + Power on. you are on 3e screen. then "wipe data / factory reset" then reboot.
*Note: that this will format your phone to factory default. and delete all your data.

still not working

try this service code :-
*#*#10086#*#*
if its ok let me know.
regards

If you have busybox installed on your android and adb shell on your pc try this script
Code:
echo " "
echo "Waiting for device..."
adb wait-for-device
echo " "
adb -d shell su -c "mount -o rw,remount /system"
adb -d shell su -c "ls /system/fonts"
adb -d shell su -c "mv /system/fonts/FONT_NAME.EXTENSION /system/fonts/NEW_FONT_NAME.EXTENSION"
The ls command lists the names of the fonts in /system/fonts directory and now try renaming them one by one using the script. You must replace "FONT_NAME.EXTENSION" with the one find after ls command. If after renaming the first file doesn't work run the script again with the following font name and so on.

Take out the battery and put it in and quickly hold the buttons that put you into stock recovery

Custom Boot problem

i have a problem, i followed the steps exactly on how to change custom boot animation, but now all i got is a black screen as an animation when the phone boots up, how do i revert back to the VZW boot screen? or how do i correct this?
Well you could just do a factory reset. It will bring back every thing back to normal d will not remove root ether, or you can get the incredible rom and get the boot animation and change it with adb

I really don't wana reset again, i wonder my boot animations are not working

Make sure your phone is in normal boot up with development turned on.
Make sure bootanimation.zip is in your sdk/tools directory
go to cmd
change directory to sdk/tools
type in cmd > adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local
adb reboot
done.
To revert back to original boot animation
--------------------------------------
go to adb shell
type
rm /data/local/bootanimation.zip

Do you have root? If so, type su. Then it should come up with a # and try the same command again as posted.
I tried rooting my incredible to no success. It'll show a money symbol after i type adb shell.

This is what it gives me.

@Sko0baQueZ
after you get the "$" symbol, type in "su" and hit enter. you should then see a "#" symbol. that is your superuser control.

[Q] Please help, I was trying to change the fonts and screwed my phone.

I need some help please, my phone wont boot and is stuck at the M logo. I am using dexters ROM with its patch. I wanted to change the android font from the standard droidsans to the Ubuntu font. I downloaded the ttf's from the ubuntu website and started looking on how to go about it.
So after searching the internet, I saw most people were doing it using adb push to replace the fonts in the /system folder. First problem that I encountered was adb not working, but after updating my $PATH to add platform tools it started working. After that when I tried the push command it said the /system was read only. I followed these instructons to make the /system folder read/write.
adb shell
$ su
# mount
# # mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock7 /system
After this I did:
mv /system/fonts/DroidSans.ttf /system/fonts/DroidSans_org.ttf
# exit
$ exit
I tried to adb push the fonts but they permission was denied. I them removed the original fonts and thats when the screen went black. I did adb reboot and now the phone wont go past the M logo. Went into normal recovery using the camera, media and power keys. Did a factory reset. Still stuck. I have no idea wtf I did, I just usually follow instructions and everything is fine dunno what happened this time. I dont know how to go back into open recovery and flash the rom again. Any help would be appretiated. Thanks!
You should be able to get into openrecovery by pressing and holding the volume up key while powering on.
Thank you! It worked now to get around to fixing this Thanks again

[Q] Samsung 4g Exhibit framework-res.apk HELP PLEASE ILL GIVE THANKS 2 ALL

i have a Samsung Exhibit 4g phone, rooted and backed up by titanium backup. I tried using the kitchen theme stuff, and i copied the original framework-res.apk file to a folder in the sd card . Then i copied the framework-res.apk file from the UOT zip to the location where the original file was and rebooted the phone. Now my phone is stuck at the Samsung logo screen and it keeps looping. anyway to fix this? :/
P.S: the location i copied the original file doesnt show up in the recovery menu when i go to install package. Also, when i tried the downloading mode, it just says downloading and doesnt do anything. Tried factory restore too. The original file is somewhere on the sd card i just dont know how to access it and put it back into its original location.... no i dont have a copy of it on my computer.
Follow this guide
If you are in a loop, you have to manage this fast or else it will just reboot again, i suggest a copy and paste function for the third command. also I don't know for sure whether /dev/block/st19 is your /system partition, but i'll try.
Code:
adb shell
Code:
su
Code:
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/st19 /system
Code:
exit
Code:
adb push /pathtoyour"ORIGINAL"frameworkres /system/framework
PS, Do this within 15-20 seconds. (You will have multiple attempts as you can do it after every loop)
once you are done, just hard reboot your phone(using power button)
Also you do this in a terminal/cmd window with your phone plugged in.
wait

Power button not working [HELP]

Hey guys I've ended up damaging my power key somehow (I dont know exactly how). But I can no longer boot into recovery. i wake up my device with the home key and fortunately it automatically boots up when the battery drains out (After connecting the charger!). Is this a hardware or a software problem (I'm pretty sure its hardware)?? Is there any way of entering into the recovery without using the power button. Thanks in advance.

Use this widget..there are many more like these in playstore..
Or use terminal commands like
Code:
reboot
reboot recovery
reboot -p
busybox poweroff -d 8 -f
busybox poweroff -f
Your need busybox installed for these commands and SU permissions for the terminal app..
