T does not stand for "Tegra".
THD is short for Tablet High Definition, means: It makes good use of the tablet's bigger real estate and it's resources like pictures, icons and so on are ready for high definition screens like the Nexus 10 or the HTC One.
Since the app only uses 2D graphics, there is no need to optimize for a certain chipset. Even 2D, it's hardware accerelated, though.
I tested it on two Tegra-Devices (Asus Transformer Prime, Nexus 7), so to say the least it's tested on Tegra

Replacement ('backend') calendar app with advanced features?

I'm currently using Pure Calendar widget with the HTC Sense Calendar to create entries, etc.
But, the Sense calendar is so basic it is unbelievable! I've tried searching all the calendar apps but most seem to focus on the 'front end'/widget aspect of things. I'm not even able to put a 'priority/importance status'!
Can anyone please recommend a decent replace app? Something akin to Pocket Informant or Agenda Fusion on the WinMo platform.
EDIT: I see Pocket Informant may be releasing for Android in the near future.
Yeah, I'd love to see a fully featured calendar app as well. I'm currently using CalendarPad on my X10, as it has a better interface than the stock SE calendar. However, it uses the stock event entry interface, which could definitely use some enhancements.
Biggest thing of interest for me would be for it to have an auto-entry list for the fields, so I'm not manually typing something like "Mom & Dad's" every time I have an event at their place. On my old iPAQ (running WinMo 6.1) I had a calendar app (SBSH Calendar, iirc) where I could build a list of commonly used locations, events, etc, and then pull from that when entering a new event.
@sh500
You can try Jorte. It at least as the important/non-important status for an event.
@saltorio
When making a new event in Jorte, you can choose existing event names to use or modify. Same goes for the location field. It's also ridiculously customizable (you can color code based on day of week or type of event or both) so I'm sure you can get the interface the way you want.
Check it out http://www.jorte.net/english/jorte.html
I recommend Jorte too. It is the best calendar application I have ever tried. When you customize the look it looks just incredible too .

Thanks for the suggestion. I've installed the app and played around with it a bit. A few things noted:
- Doesn't integrated with Pure Calendar Widget (?).
- The widgets are not customisble (colour, etc).
- A very basic Task application. I currently use Astrid for this and it works well.
- Integration with existing calendar other than Google is very limited (important when it comes to sync'ing).
Definitely better than the HTC Sense Calendar in terms of interface and certain features.
I guess, just like anything else, when you're used to using something that almost does everything (Pocket Informant) any else will just not do
Thanks for the tip on Jorte. Wish it had a more interesting widget layout but other than that it looks to be what I can live with. Smooth Calendars 3 even outlook was bad considering I hold baseball games on my calendar.
Widgets in Jorte are totally customizable... infinite possibilities of recolouring. To get into settings you must choose a scheme first, then you can edit it. It is a kind of minigame first but you will quickly get it right.

I think I found what you're talking about: choose a style, then customize. But the only things I saw adjustable for the widget were 2 things, one of which was the widget border color. I just want to enlarge the text on the widget! IMO it's way too small.
I have three issues with Jorte as a replacement for google calendar.
The text in the widgets needs to be adjustable.
If you copy your existing calendar(s) from google you can not edit the events
It does not import ics files
Yep, agreed with many of the issues raised. We need the best bits from all existing apps rolled into one and then just a few features thrown in for good measure.
Many argue that the Android is not a 'business phone' (hence the basic functionality) and also not have features such as proxy settings. I totally disagree with that reason, many 'business' functions seem quite simple to implement and the OS is more than capable. Oh sync'ing is another one where WM wins (!)
I need a better calendar app too. My needs are better notification options. Ability to change length of snooze for an eventis one feature I need.. and to be able to snooze specific notifications while being able to dismiss others..
Needs to be more blackberry like.

Initial impression is that its very confussing and difficult to use... it took me a while to work out what I was looking at. Don't get the widget folder as it negates what a widget is. I do like the potential concept, but this really needs a lot more thought into user experience.
To start with look at changing the folder controls to make them easier to select.
This is a very original approach and I'll going to watch this one with interest...

Often only shows black screen on HTC legend.
The dock icons are too big and there is hardly any customization possible.
But it is a really interesting idea and different from other launcher. I'll stay tuned.

Unless I'm missing something the only place to add widgets is in the folder at the top of the screen. This limited the use of widgets... for example if I add a 2x2 clock thats all I can see and use unless I expand the folder. This is compounded by the difficulty in using the folder controls. Widgets are supposed to provide quick and easy access and viewing of apps and info you use most, currently this is lost in Claystone... If you could make widget use a little more traditional it would go a long way...
Like I said previously though the whole user experience would be vastly improved if you added larger controls to the folders making it quick and easy to expand/close etc.
Like ms_green says the dock is a little large and it makes the screen feel a little cramped.
A very short review, sorry for being blunt:
* On my Droid Incredible: great, now applications are even smaller/hard to read. UI is not very responsive. Toolbar buttons are too small but making them any bigger would mean even less real estate.
* Tablet: Ooooh now you're talking! The layout makes much more sense, especially in landscape mode. This is actually getting closer to WebOs' take on multitasked UI.
I think this app has a great future on tablets.
Ima dl right now

This is great!!! VERY GOOD!!! the concept is amazing
things u might want to improve:
The loading speed of panels are slow. Even opening the appdrawer takes no less than 3 seconds, not to mention browser etc
When u scroll vertically but a bit sideways on a panel it just pops u into another panel, very excruciating
Panels. seriously, all u can have is a home panel and a widget panel? i want to make my own (not just folders) for example media, games etc
"items" u can add. to be honest all there is is file explorer, browser and youtube (not to mention the youtube one really sucks). U need more of these "items", but i understand this is a beta
lol no offense
I could see this possibly having potential on a bigger screen, like a tablet maybe. But as it stands things feel too cramped on my 3.7 inch screen. Also things are a bit slow atm.
It's an interesting concept, but implemented in a moderately confusing fashion. The widget box resizes widgets oddly, making things look bulky, etc.
Great idea, though.
Opening the inbuilt contacts force closes the app for me.
But apart from that, a brilliant concept! I can't wait for new additions! Great job

You can create more panels ("folders") as well, you can copy and paste any item in any panel. In our next drop we are going to make it simple by adding applications to the "create" menu.

looks great, downloading now!
EDIT:
I uninstalled the stock calculator forever ago in favor of RealCalc, because of the crippled functionality of the stock calculator. My first thought when i saw this app was "hey! i can finally replace realcalc with something less ugly!" bat, sadly, i'm keeping realcalc.
you have an awesome app here, devein, but for it to replace realcalc for me, you'll need to add exponent and root (eg, square and cube roots, not android roots ) functions.
That being said, it IS a wonderful app, and i know a lot of people will love it.

bought and installed it.Looks good so far and is easy to use, but I´m missing a (Google)Calender sync to have all my old notes back.
Things like birthdays and so on(Sorry for my english). Also option to mark weekend and feast days would be nice.
And why did I have to set a concrete year when I set "every year"
Hope you continue your developement, this could be a great, very helpfull app.

You are right, there is no Google/Samsung calendar synchronization, and there is no ability to mark weekends/holidays. And I agree, most cases with "every year" recurring rule do not require setting the end year, so I will try to fix it soon. Thanks for your feedback, I added your thoughts to my list of other requests of new features. Let me know if you have any other thoughts later!

Can we have resizable widgets for the memos?
I miss the ooold SMemo widgets, which we could spread, 3 or 4, over the screen, not the new ones, too big & heavy.
From the ICS era, I must carry with the GNote app, a simulator of SMemo....
I will try yours, in any way.

Do you mean Google Calendar? It would be a partial (no guests, no sharing options, no event color, no location) one-way (Google Calendar -> Penocle only, because most Penocle items are based on a graphic notes) sync. Thanks for your comment.

Exactly. Some way to display GCal events at least. But wouldn't it be possible to store the graphical note as image attachment to a GCal-event as well, so that events created in Penocle at least could be indicated in The Google Calendar?
Don't get me wrong: I really do like what you have come up with so far – but in order to be fully usable, at least (one-way) display of existing Google Calendar events would be essential, IMHO.
Nice app, and a good idea. For me, Google calender sync and a reziable widget is essential for purchase the app.

Like the layout and everything. Seems really solid.
But haxsync doesnt work somehow with this. I have there showing visible and synced "haxsync birthdays" but no entries on calendar. Currently using Today Calendar and everything is there.
I tested with few local calendars and "important events" calendars. All showing in m-calendar but this haxsync.
Thanks, looks nice. I like having a dark theme option.
A couple of suggestions to consider. The notification icon could be a little bigger and bolder. It is hardly noticed next to other icons. The other suggestion is to add a little space between items, and days, in the agenda view.
Many thanks for this great app :good:
For next release, it will be possible to change the size of font?

Maybe haxsync birthday format is differ than m-calendar can recognize.
The programm in attachment (Birthday) shows all contact's birthdays in your phone. You can run it, and find in list your haxsync contacts, and write here birthsday string of this contact.
If there are no haxsync contacts in this list - this mean that haxsync do not add its contacts to android contacts or haxsync do not add birthday of its contacts to birthday field in android contacts.
Thank you!

Thanks!
First I Absolutely love the app thank you for making it. Second I have one very minor complaint. At least on the widget holiday events will appear on the day after they happen rather on the day of. They say the right date on them, but are just filed under the next day.

You are welcome)))
Please, say what is your timezone?
And another question - is this bug only in wiget? Is in agenda view all ok or not?
Later: I can reproduce this error on my phone. But not the same. My error is - Thomas Jefferson's birthday is on 13 (!) april, and m-calendar shows this event on 13 april, but title of this event is 12 (!) april. Do you have the same error? Please check this!
And if you check "Show contact's bitrhdays" on right drawer menu - on which date will appear Thomas Jefferson CONTACT birthday (line in agenda with Quick contact badge)?
Thanks for cooperation!
