[Q] Root without rebooting device - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello guys,
I'am writing some small security report about Android devices in general related to accessing information from RAM.
Use case:
User opens 3rd-party app, enters some password in password field. Source code of this application shows that this password information available in RAM while application is up and running. For example in class AllMyAppPasswords in public String myPassword. Now is the question about possible way to access this password info (correct me if I am wrong):
1. The way to access this pwd is to dump the memory.
2. For memory dump I need to have device to be rooted.
3. In order to root the device I need to unlock bootloader.
4. To achieve unlock bootloader and root operations it is requires that device needs to be rebooted at least once.
4. After device is rebooted the information about password is gone from RAM
Conclusion: it is not possible to get password residing in RAM memory from app if device is non-rooted. Is it correct?

Maybe exists some methods for some devices to root and dump memory without phone rebooting?
If you know about other forum I can get answers, it would be great. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Removing or Locking Wifi Capabilities on Android

Hi guys,
My question is like this: is is possible to remove or password protect (i.e. locking) WiFi capabilities on an android device (rooted or not)?
I know this can be achieved through renaming a driver file, though I am not sure which one and one would need a rooted phone after all.
The best option is of course locking WiFi with a a password...
Please do not ask why, as it is a pain to explain...
~confuded
P.S. The user ha no idea if his phone is rooted or not, or how to access the rooted filesystem, or how to rename system files (or which ones).

[Q] Telstra T-Hub 2

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for some help to obtain root access to my T-Hub 2 tablet running on Gingerbread.
Please read my following text file and venture your opinions on my thoughts.
We as owners/users of T-Hub 2 devices require sensible answers to important questions.
We need usb drivers for the T-Hub 2, either from Telstra or from Technicolor the manufacturer of the device so that we can attain " ROOT ACCESS" via a usb cable connection to a computer.
Unless we can get "ROOT ACCESS" we cannot move applications to an external SD card (32 GB in my case) or use Titanium Backup or certain Antivirus programs that require "ROOT ACCESS".
Please accept the undeniable fact that 1 Gigabyte of storage on the internal SD card is totally insufficient and pathetic, almost as pathetic as the fact that we are still stuck with "Gingerbread" which puts us three versions behind on Android which is now up to "JellyBean" v2.
The fact is, I believe the Android operating system running on the T-Hub 2 is, like all other versions of Android, based on the Linux kernel which is software using the GNU General Public License, which allows people to see, copy, use, and modify for their own needs.
If indeed I am correct in my assumption then Telstra/Technicolor could be in breach of a world standard which would mean that the proprietary blocks and gates that they have built to prevent access to the kernel on the T-Hub 2 are illegal.
Download Mode discovered...and more...
I recently downloaded a program to backup my phone called "Moborobo".
I realized I was able to use it's built in "file manager" to see the entire file structure of the T-HUB 2's operating system, a bit like "root explorer".
I am able to copy files from here, although I still don't have root access to copy any files back in.
And in regards to download mode.....
I have discovered it is possible to get into download mode. It's still a 3 button method:
Hold "Volume-" and "Volume+" and "Power Button" to boot into download mode.
Not that this has helped me at all.
Odin certainly doesn't recognize this device. But maybe this information is useful to someone with more dev experience?

How to unlock password-protected mdb file?
How did you lose your password due to corruption? If a database file is corrupted, then it can't be opened even if you are entering the correct password. If this is your problem, then you should repair the file either by using Compact and Repair utility or by using third-party application (if compact and repair fails to repair the file). But if password has been lost somewhere or you have forgotten it, then you should try some third-party applications for access database password recovery. SysInfoTools provides two applications:
SysInfoTools MS Access database repair to repair corrupt access database (.mdb and .accdb) files
and SysInfoTools MS Access database password recovery to recover lost or forgotten passwords of .mdb files
First try demo version of these applications.
Regards.
I would also like to suggest the people, do not put the R & D on your database, it will create worst condition. If your data is really a valuable then go for third party utility to repair your database.
Here is the application which available as a Free to Try Version, In Free version you can repair your data and also see the preview of recover database. This tool repair the file even it is password protected.

[HELP REQUEST]Realme 5 locked

Dear all,
I do have a tricky question and I know already that this could be suspicious.
Allow me describe the issue.
I have Realme 5 where the user set password (not pin or gesture), but is unable to remember.
Now when phone starts (even before Android boot) it asks for password (not gesture or pin) which the user is unable to repeat.
Easy solution is factory reset, which is fine to be done.
But there is number of photos he wants to safe.
And I'd like to ask if there is a way to do so.
USB Debug is not allowed, therefore my thinking to use ADB is no possible as phone is not visible.
Is there any way to achieve the goal to safe the photos?
Can I make a backup, do factory reset and restore from backup?
Or is there any other chance? Via recovery/custom ROM? I guess not, since USB Debug is not allowed, right?
Thank you for hints or send me PM if you do not wish to discuss it here.
Jindrich
thanks all who checked this out.
I know how "silly" the request is, as this would be solution for any stolen device.
On the other hand, I was thinking about approaches and seems to me there is no way
Since I do not know pwd, I can't use recovery either, although there is sdcard slot, since I'll be asked for pwd before entering recovery (or before installing something via recovery).
I can't use ADB either, due to USB debug not enabled, this is also a dead end...
So I do not see a way how to get access DCIM folder..

Any ways to backup data from a locked phone ?!

hello everyone ..
I'm trying to access my phone with correct password but i found that work profile is enabled with different lock screen password i didn't set any work profiles before when i searched for that problem i found that using cloned apps make work profile to be enabled automatically
Now my phone is locked with an important data on it So, I really do hope there is a way to get access to those data. And I'd be extremely grateful if someone could help me out with this.
There are many tools for this purpose available for windows and the most common way is by adb tools
Busybox with su might be an option?
can you explain the method i have no experience with that
hello everyone..
when trying to remove the screenlock the phone suddenly crach and restarted when the phone opens again it tells me to enter the pattern which i already removed with a notification on lockscreen says ''some functionality may be limited tap to unlock work profile'' now i can't access my phone and factory reset is not an option.
need help please
factory reset is your only option
