Database Info

My Device Is Not Working..... pls Help pls....

Hello Sir,
First of alll i am sorry for my bad english...
I have a Karbonn A1 device non rooted....with stock rom and stock recovery..
But Few days ago I got all software such as the rom flashing tool i.e."Common Downloader" and also the stock rom files such as recovery.img, userdata.img, system.img etc. I also downloaded stock rom files of Sony Ericsson W8..... so while installing stock rom on my Karbonn A1... I replaced Karbonn's system.img with Xperia w8's system.img..... while installing at 91% it showed "download fail"..... and my device restarts...
Now my device has started but system force closes after every 2 seconds.... When I think to again install the stock rom back.... My computer does not showing COM Port of my device... also my stock recovery is working..... So Pls pls pls ps Help If any one knows how to solve this problem.....

Because flashing needs COM port to be located but My PC is not showing COM port of my device..

Yes Sir,
I have installed the correct drivers of my device and even tried on another computer also.. but still it is not showing the COM ports.

2. change to other computer and flash again carefully.

If com isn't showing then there is only one thing you can do go to customer care......

Dont post Q in general. Selection post it in Q&A selection.
To fix your problem reflash ICS kdz or bin with lg flash tool

Easiest way, connect you phone with official lg flashtool and make an emergancyrestore

the unlockr always has nice root guides try this http://theunlockr.com/2012/12/31/how-to-root-the-lg-optimus-l3-e400/ it dosen't get any simpler than that, if you have any questions please ask

hmmm thats a problem. i cant find the file anywhere, you can try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1044765 download the apk in the second post and put it on your phone and install it from a file manager such as one of them allready installed onto your phone or androzip from the market

back up everything and factory reset.. easiest way possible without root!!

Go here here and download Gapps then take out Phonesky.apk and then sideload it.

Go with the one that matches your os just in case it needs flashing but sideloading should work fine.

how to customize statusbar / notifications / power panel

hello guys
as i say .. i want to know is there way to change my status bar cuz it looks too old ... i want to make it like samsung galaxy's u know like in the pic in attachments...
or to disaple my original one cuz i tried notification toggle and others but they all put the power widgets under the original of my device ....
any help plz ???

xposed has modules for that stuff, i forget what theryre called but i can look it up for you...

The status bar has gone now .... the background turned to black ... and can't open recent apps ....
That's happened. Cuz I put a mod systemui.apk instead of my original ....
I really neef the original now or similar one
My device is : i9220 MTK6575 .. ICS. Ver 4.0.4
Please please. Let me know if you know way or anyone please

thanks for ur help ,, but my device is chinese version different frimware from the samsung
is that file in an update to the frimware ??
if its where i find it cuz i downloaded a frimware but cant find thr systemUI

you can flash a chinese stock firmware from that link, flashable via odin. i dont know what it has inside.

Edit the built.prop for customization tweak. Hope it will help.
