ok so my mum wants to get 3g when she is out ive seen these mifi thing just they dont put them in lamens terms aha, want to be sure before i get one, so on amazon you can buy a simcard with 3gb data on, and also i already have a 3 dongle, is there a device i can put into the dongle that puts out a wifi signal so my mum can connect to it in the car ect?

first time here I am glad to be a new owner of Htc Polaris but my problem is this :
my network is 3.5 not 3 and they say I cant use their sim with my phone is this true?
currently I have an old phone of my vendor which is cdma so that's why I cant test their sim.
Do u think there is a way of patching my phone so I could use it?
So what about 3.5 G?
Phone will use as much as it can, even if it's only 2 G.
BTW, I often have "H" mark on my phone - should stay for HSDPA

I just got my Nexus S from Fido and I notice that i can't connect to my Wifi.. to make matters worst I get a 3G signal but i can't connect to any internet site even google..
Any help would be appreciated.. or worst comes to worst I have to get an Iphone 4G....
Wrong kernel can cause this.
Try to install new ROM. There are plenty available for you on the ns dev sections. Find one which is suits for your NS.

Hey guys i really need your help. so i bought an htc evo 4g flashed to boost. it was on a different number. everything worked call text internet pix mail. and i had a boost account so 2 weeks into it i finally got my number on it. (this is in january )
im pretty sure i might have reset the ha/aaa passwords on accident now 3g internet is not working at all i did all the trouble shooting but found that the ha/aaa passwords say both of them are incorrect or something. the phone calls and text work fine just no 3g internet please help ive been bs'ing with this phone since january please help i always give thanks i also live in reno if someones close by i will pay and if some one can get it to work over the comp ill donate using paypal

Am thinking about buying my very first mobile device. Have never owned a smartphone or tablet before. Would like to know if I were to buy a 7.7 inch Galaxy tablet (Verizon), would it be compatible with the wi-fi router my sister already uses at home for her Apple Mac. I am of very limited financial means and don't want to buy something if I am unable to use the wi-fi here. This is the wi-fi & internet model.

That's not really a question everybody can answer for you.. unless someone happens to use one with THAT specific kind of router.
What makes you think they wouldn't be "compatible" though ? WiFi is pretty much universal...
