[Q] wasted space and dead apps-running out - General Questions and Answers

I have been trying different roms and loading apps at the same time. Half the apps have disappeared even after restoring them with Titanium but the URGENT question is how to clean up my memory? (BTW) Whats the difference between sd card and ext sd card?
Thanks for the help.

sdcard = internal memory of the phone
ext-sd card = your microSD storage.

Too many to count.

Cause people are dumb.

Happened all over the Xperia Z forums too when they were on top. I assume there's some "post new thread" thing somewhere that just dumps it in the newest/most popular device forum.

That's gotta be it, I hope. Cuz it's stupefying how many of these have shown up. Like 75% of the threads here are wrong forum lol. Crazy.
From my Evo LTE, yup.

Definitely not for this phone, but not identifyable. Thus closed, not moved

isnt there a more easy way just as with the iphone to make a link folder? thats a folder that actually links to another folder, so i can point out one on the sd card?
EDIT:
your gameloft patcher is for the optimus 2x and does not support the optimus 3d. we need another solution.

Its a sd card swap app.Im not sure if it supports our phone.Wait for a senior dev. He'll b able to explain more.
Sent from my GT-I9003 using XDA App
It swaps your internal sdcard with external sdcard.
Means our phone's got 1.52gb internal sd card mem. And say your external's got 8gig.
If you swap, you would have 8gb internal, and 1.52 external.
We got a mod for this. Search around.

Sarcasm, one if my biggest pet peeves is using the proper word. Sorry
some countries are more limited in how many letters are allowed per sms. even though they're using a smartphone and posting online instead of sms, they're probably in the habit of saying things like "f u" instead if "if you" (I learned that from having a wife from the Philippines )

have you checked out the size of the app? are you worried about how much space it takes up? how easy is it to revert to stock? why would you prefer the app to a tried, tested, and flawlessly working mod of the original file?

hahaha... jokes on you... you think you have figured out a trick but you really have not. This error can easily be remedied by moving any movable apps to sdcard... clearing out browser caches help too... this issue is not specific to the rom you are using... and this has been around for a while now and been discussed many... many... many times...

I am running stock, rooted. it just says storage available or somethin like that. I just ended up downloading link2SD and partitioning my SD card. I linked all my important apps to my SD card and did a complete wipe. Unfortunately when I got it all back up and running and re rooted, My apps are not there. Im sure I messed up somehow. maybe I needed to completely move the apps to the SD card I dont know. Does linking them to the SD just create more space?

Maybe he wants the rom to be slimmed down. Like cyanogenmod takes about 500 MB. Too bad that we don't have it, if we ever are going to have it.

Adoptable storage is the only way. It doesn't function well on your phone because your SD card is too slow, so you need to buy a faster one for it to work.

A slimmed down is not going to reallocate system space to data partition.

I just want to try use the SD like an Native Internal Storage, but im trying any way to dont need use Adoptable Storage cause i using this method i cant move some games to SD Card and almost or all games dont install automaticaly on SD, then if i found some way to revert this like i have see it before on Galaxy S3 using an Kernel to invert Internal to External.
Well i hope this is possibible, but im not capable to create nothing like this with my own hand, then this is the reason im here asking for support or maybe informations.
