I was trying to change ROM from BoudZDroid V2 to Simplicity V2. I did everything as usual (remove cache, dalvik cache,...) and while trying to reboot the phone it stuck on the Galaxy Ace logo. I flashed the phone with Odin using this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708899 but the phone is still stuck at Galaxy Ace logo. What should I do?
Try flashing stock with multifirmware package.. It does'nt require that pit file and u have toh just extract and put that in pda, modem, csc folder and then start. Hope it may work.

Use GTG's Ultimate Unbrick.
NEVER USE ROM MANAGER. And yes, use gtg's ultimate unbrick to get back to stock.

Download a stock ROM for your phone. Your exact phone ROM.. Get onto download mode after turning off anti virus...firewall...click PDA find the stock ROM that you have conveniently placed.. Select that ROM and hit start let it go till it resets your phone (possibly six to ten minutes) reboot ..clear cache if hanging at reboot..
Usually I flash CWM first then put Su.zip on my sdcard and flash root or what is SU .then you have root or super user privileges.hope you turn out all good

My phone galaxy sl gt-i9003 was running was rooted and running on codename(android) when I flash some random kernel and bricked it. I then read though lots of xda-developers threads and followed whatever was said there. It goes into recovery and download mode. So i flashed the stock ROM( which i had downloaded from sammobile ). But after that it got stuck in boot loop. Then I tried flashing a few ROM suggestions given here in xda. But each time I either got back a bricked phone or boot loop problem. Help Please!!!:crying:

and repartition is amust cause you are on ext4
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
hmmp, i somehow recover on that situation by re partitioning through odin using pit from I9003DXKB2 stock rom froyo...
then flash a I9003DXKP9 gingerbread through odin also
I9003DXKB2 is my SL's original firmware since i bough it though
but might help you...
i did all those because i want my SL to run CM10 Alpha 4 jelly bean
i downloaded the stock roms from "[ROM] STOCK ROMS for GALAXY SL I9003" thread in the developers section...
yes its better to flash with xxkpe and then with xxkpq... me too experience the same problem...
follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1133787
download firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647
Thank you all for replying. I solved the problem. I had forgotten to factory reset after flashing stock rom. Now its as good as new. Also I had this doubt. Is it required that you factory reset after every flash?

You could try to reinstall the samsung drivers on your PC.
Easiest way to do so is by installing Kies.
If it still doesn't work, try another way:
Do you have access to your SD card? I mean do you have a card reader to access the SD from your computer?
If so, you can try spikeyace's advice

If you have CWM then you should use the "Install zip from SD card" option, not the update option!
But to do that you first of all need to get a ROM zip onto your SD card. If there is already one on it, you're lucky.
If not, you should look for a ROM that you can flash with Odin.
How to get that on your phone, you can read here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1071970
So day before yesterday I finally tried to install a custom ROM on my Samsung GT i5801 phone which previously ran Froyo. I didn't know much about ROMs and it was my first time so i tried to use one of AOKP ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1548627 ) I don't know why but it wouldn't install using CWN v.5.0.2.8 and I tried to do it anyways using ODIN. It kinda flashed it but it never worked. It destroyed my stock ROM and I didn't have any backups.
Then I found a Cyanogen mod 7 ROM for GT I5801 and I installed it on my phone using CWN. It installed fine but keeps boot looping. I tried everything after that. Clearing cache, Dalvik Cache, and even tried to re-install the ROM using the wipe data/ factory reset and installing the Cyanogen zip file, but it still boot loops.
Today I tried the AOKP ROM again using odin. It flashed perfectly but its stuck on boot loop too. The white screen keeps flashing.
Can anyone tell me of a solution, please?
Any help is welcome.
download Kyrillos rom v9.7.1 and try flashing it using Odin. It worked for me as i was flashing GingerDX rom. And always perform A wipe data after flashing rom.
