[Q] How to set up VPN on tab 2 - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi
I can't config or set up VPN on my device.
In fact I have to fill some information when I want to add a VPN.
For examples: server , account , RSA secureID and etc.
How can I do that?

Custom roms does't allow that codes, neither on previous Galaxy S models, not only S6.

i haven't heard anyone saying this in the custom rom's threads and i thought i'm having some special issue... but if it's like you're saying i should flash the stock firmware and the codes work ?

That's your choice... If you don't need those codes and everything else is ok, I wouldn't or maybe I would just for ask the technician his opinion...

The phone works fine. Just the codes.
hi guys! i have different problem with secret codes. on my S6 and S7 *#06# works fine, but other codes doesn't work. even when i made my app - my code doesn't work too. but when i had installed program from play market 'secret codes' and founded MY code in this app - select on them - my code works fine. i think problem in service listener or on phone caller application.
sorry for my bad english)
In the New Firmware it doesn't work. Try to downgrade your Firnware with Odin. And then the Codes will be working.
Regads: Gamer864443
Touchwiz doesn't allow those codes. To get to that stuff download "Hidden android settings" from the app store.

Why my S6 doesn't ask me for the decrypt password when switching on?

Hello,
I turned on the Encrypt option on my Android Samsung Galaxy S6. The first time I switched in it asked me for the encrypted password to decrypt all the files. But since the S6 was updated it doesn't ask me for the decrypt password, it only starts and goes to the unlock screen as a normal Android.
Is it normal? Does it have to ask me for the password or does the S6 have a secure memory like Knox where it saves the decrypt password and that's why it doesn't ask me for it now?
Thanks!

Hi,
Have you checked if after the update the phone stays encrypted? Maybe you should check it

I had this same issue. Unencrypting, then re-encrypting fixed the issue. I now have to enter a password when i power up.

IGO is not able to write on SDCard

I've installed IGO from my SDCard. Every time I start the app it starts as if it were the first time and I have to make the initial setup.
Is there any workaround about this please?

Maybe look under applications. Go to the igo app there and check the permissions.

Thank You very much for your answer. I'm a total newbie so I would appreciate if you could write step-by-step instructions for the: ".... create a folder with Addons for the map content." part.

Can anyone help me to modify this apk?

Hi,
I use an app that have ads by the developer to monetize it.
It was fine, until latest versions. The developer introduces ads all over the app dificulting the usability. Is there any way to remove the most anoying of them (like one marked in attached image) and left the others untouched?
Im agree to have ads to help developers, but in some cases like that are used abusively.
Can anyone help me to modify the apk to do this?
Thanks
now thats a Huge ad...name of app ?
