Porting 3.4 kernel to Miro / Tipo - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

There's no technical reason why the 3.4 kernel will not run on all sony msm7x27a phones. However to port it we will need updated blobs, so for Tipo and Miro we will need to take them from J or E and any future msm7x27a phones Sony may release.
Luckily, most blob files are actually already identical between the three phones, so it looks like it won't be a problem. However to be sure I'd like to ask Tipo and Miro owners running CyanogenMod 10 to test some blob files taken from J. I have already tried the Tipo and Miro blobs on J and they work fine. However I'd like to be sure the J blobs work on Tipo and Miro before I commit to using the J blobs.
So the first files to test are to do with the bcm4330 chip which controls both WiFi and Bluetooth:
View attachment bcm4330.zip
Replace all files at /system/etc/bcm4330 with the files in this zip, reboot, and test wifi and bluetooth. If both still work please let me know.

News
Are there any news about this kernel for miro/tipo ?

I've been unsatisfied with how poorly CM10 runs on jlo so I've shifted my focus to a new project.
However, I did spend a little time with merging the jlo kernel to the nanhu (Xperia E) but I haven't committed anything yet. Unfortunately the two kernels have very different changes as they were written by two different developer teams so it's not as trivial as you would normally expect.
FXP has started to bring up nanhu to CM10 as well as a new repo for jlo based on its JB blobs, but it looks like it won't be ready for a while as its proving to be more difficult than expected.
The eventual aim is to have all four devices on one kernel, but we need to have the two with JB fully working first!

Thank you for sharing androidnerd2 but I have a couple of questions I hope you can answer me. I recently bought a XPeria J ST26A with stock Android 4.0.4, 11.0.A.7.10 firmware and locked bootloader. Before I use the stock ftf's you are sharing I'd like to know...
1.- Can I come back to ISC if JB does not satisfy my needs. I did a full backup of my phone using Flashtool and SUS (A ftf file) of my current version just in case I need it.
2.- Is it 100% compatible with my current firmware any of the stock ftf's? I been reading the forum and there is not a single mention of it.
3.- I watched a video about a ST25i and they said that if you use a firmware for that model on a ST25a you have to uncheck the baseband option before you flash the phone with Flashtool. The same thing applies to ST26i and ST26a? I want to learn about this so I do not commit mistakes.
4.- The stock ftf's you posted have the bug of not been able to change the theme? I read about that here in the forum.
5.- After I flash the phone with JB is it necessary to perform a hard reset? Can you tell me the process?
6.- I root my phone, I know I will loose it if I update to JB but I'd like to know if I will be able to root it again considering I have a locked bootloader and the firmware I'm telling you or everything will be updated including the firmware?
So sorry for all my questions but I am a new android user and I always consider it is better to ask before and not after.
Thx in advanced.
Cheers.
1. yes
2.yes
3.yes. Uncheck the baseband option.
4.No bugs. I can change the theme. By the way are you talking about the stock themes ?
5.No need for hard reset.
6. Yes I think you will lose root. This link should work though I haven't tested this because I have unlocked bootloader.

Firefox OS on C1505, NOT C1504, at this time
I plan to "convert" my C1504 to C1505 to use the experimental Firefox OS available through Sony. I've already downloaded the C1505_11.3.A.2.13_UK.ftf file from Google Drive and I think I may need to know the "customization number" for the C1505. That number for the C1504 is 1273-6378_R4E .
Everyone, if you have a C1505, please post the customization number for that phone.
Your customization number can be found in your service menu (dial *#*#7378423#*#* > 'Service info' > 'Software info' > 'Customization Version').
hello Sir
Just to let you know when you use the cm10 that you talked about , To fix the problem is you just flash your kernel sin to your phone to have everything working ..And you can then enjoy your new custom rom
There's no need to convert - you can flash a C1504 with ROMs from any of the these: C1504, C1505, C1604 and C1605. Any ROM for any of these models will work.

In Xperia J the LED under Home button glows only all colours at the same time.
Baseband error is well known.
I know it's not bug but we still don't have 4.3 kernel for CM10. 3.0.8 is too old.

That ROM is based on FXP their CM10 and that release was spilled with bugs. Allure can be something.nice. But only when it gets based on the CM10 by jjm and hsr0.
