I see a warning icon in my notification area on my CT702 tablet, and when I click on it, I see what looks like the Google login dialog asking for my password:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now which app is doing this, and is it safe to enter my password?
I don't think it's a really good idea. Just go to the settings and check if your google account is syncronized with phone. If it's not, than just push sync button.
The Gmail app can access my email, and the Accounts indicate that sync is working.
Gotta wonder which app put that login dialog there. Not too many new apps on the tablet, just some games.
Some people might have just entered their password there, and their Google account is compromised.

Is there anyway to restrict access to applications on my phone?
I work with some sensitive emails so I can't access email on my phone unless I can find a way to lockdown applications.
The main applications I need to lock are my mail applications and messaging. Possibly browser.
Anyway of doing this?
It'd be good if you could.... stop my kids from nosing around parts of the phone I don't want them looking in!!
Found an app

I'm signed into my Google account. I can go to the following apps without issue, Google+, Gmail, Play Store, YouTube. Does anyone have any suggestions I can try? Thanks in advance.
I normally see my Google profile image on the top left here:

"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I click on it I go back to the home screen and get this:
Self resolved.
I had to setup my local account in the People app for this to show up. I was taken aback because it used to pull this automatically when I signed into G+.
Quick view of the account creation screen from the 5/4 build of the Joying firmware. Exchange support is back but is now being managed by Gmail.

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
It was present in Android, not present (for some) on Joying units... and is now an option. Sounds like its back. ;]
You are wrong and transitoyspace is right. The Exchange was removed from Android and it has not changed (it's not back in ANDROID), but Gmail application have ability to use exchange protocol now. If you remove Gmail, you will loose exchange under accounts.
just like the screenshot of my phone. Recently(June 2) I could not use and could not enable the location history. When I click the "Location History is off", nothing happened.

I have tried:
1. Verify my google account has enabled the service(location history). I logged in my google account on other devices and could use the location history service.
2. Other user account logged on my Mate8 could not use the location history.( they could use the location history on their device)
3. Tried different versions of google map on Mate 8. no use
I've been getting recurring Pop Ups of Google Smart Lock that's annoying as hell.
It might be related to some app requesting Google Login but I can't remember when it started popping up. I have tried uninstalling apps but it hasn't helped.
Some time the pop ups are so frequent that I can't get any work done, like it must have popped up at least 20 times while typing this post.
Any suggestions other than to reset device?

Temporarily disable Google play Services and/or gmail. I eanble them only when needed on my N10+'s running on P and Q.
Android R and above are much worse with nuisance popups than the former.
