the only major i can see is they have removed tegra 2 cpu!and put amoled scrreen!not worth upgrading since u could order nexus 4 for 22k through ppobox ,which is the best phone rite now!
First, use Q/A thread.
Now, its like asking for new mobile for which we already have a thread. So better to move on that thread then making new one. But if you have already made then There are two
1) Galaxy Grand -> Cheap & best in its Range
2) Nexus 4 -> If you are lucky then you can have it.

It has an 8 MP camera with LED flash.
Even after 7pm today, the new Galaxy is being shown, the SGS3 so the price of the SGS2 will fall by the appearing of his new brother
People expect the SGS3 will be in stores in approx. 7 days, so I should then watch the price of the SGS2!

i wish that s2 may have another brother like s4, 5, 6 and 7. So that SGS2 would go down to Php 6000 haha. Coz i want it.
Being on a tight budget, I would even recommend that you go for the Samsung Galaxy S Plus.
As I've had it for some time, I can assure you that it performs really well with the right ROM and tweaks.
Also, it currently has almost fully-working builds of CM7 and CM9, and you can expect a lot of other custom ROMs, although there were some issues in development.
sgs2 it's so popular and supported
I don't think you'll get a Galaxy Note or a Samsung Galaxy S2 for under 6000 Philippine pesos.

I havn't met automatic data loss yet. I bought my i9003 on 2011.10.1.
But if I were you I would get an GS II(i9100) now.

Well Get i9000 instead.....(Most recommended)
U can also try Galaxy s+, galaxy S advance......

All three are same models externally.....just the CPU,Chipset,GPU,RAM and Display Differ.........
Again i9000 (sada galaxy S) is the most recommended Since it gets the most Attention...both from Samsung and Devs.....and super-amoled has better battery life than S-LCD's......
Buy a Galaxy i9000 or a Nexus Phone... Best Roms for them and great Developer support.
I'll recommend Xperia Neo V (I have both phones) for the following reasons:
1. Samsung Service and hardware sucks (too many issues just check the forum)
2. SL has no official support for ICS.
3. Limited ROMs for SL.
4. Neo V is faster/smoother as per my experience.
5. No notification LED on SL.
6. Neo V is cheaper with a better SOC.
But, Galaxy SL is easier to mod as compared to Neo V (requires unlocked bootloader, an easy procedure).
Sl is the best in its range..

Battery backup would be better than ace.
Don't think of xperia u..
Its useless. It has only 4gb internal memory and no external memory card support.
I would recommend against it. The phone is at the end of its support cycle.

how about experia sola...! I have.seen its specs. Looks really good & most imp it has ICS support. Its a fact our phone is just ok kind of phone which has very low kind of development. If I get a chance then I will replace my phone with 1 year old samsung galaxy nexus phone which has very vast developmrnt.

I am new to android world.(never used an android handset so far) I am thinking of buying Samsung Galaxy S duos. My budget is 17-19k. Looking for an ICS device with WVGA resolution and best possible connectivity. Samsung Galaxy S advance is the other handset in my mind. But S duos looks fresh. I use mobile for facebook, little email and music. I dont play games on mobile phones (neither on PC ) S duos is available at 16.5k & SGS advance at 19.5 k in my city (Mangalore). Which one should I buy?
Let me add one more thing, I dont need dual sim function. But S duos is a new model & an affordable ICS offering from Samsung. So going for S duos. Ur thoughts pls.

yes dont buy this piece of ****.... you can get galaxy nexus 7 with that price. its 16k at my place and nexus 7 is 15k .......... it can't play hd videos.... and has a single core processor......

Hello there guys and thank you all in advance for your dedication and your help.! I want to buy a Tablet pretty soon and i am amongst 2 of Samsung's Tab 4 T533 or Tab A T550. I need a Tablet which can be rooted for sure cause i'll need to install X Mod to this Tablet. So i think i saw that Tab A is already rootable (not sure though). From the other hand i think that Tab 4 is certainly better.. So you know anything about when Tab 4 will be rootable? Or should i just go for Tab A which is already rootable (i think)..
