Hello, I plan to buy tablet Ramos W32 and I was wondering if it is possible to install Windows 8 on it and if it runs properly. It has an Intel Atom processor, so this should not be a problem. It also meets minimum Windows 8 requirements.
Here are tablet's specifications:
CPU: Intel Z2460 , Intel Atom Z2460 1.6 GHz
GPU: PowerVR GX540
RAM 1GB,DDR3
Storage 16GB
Resolution: 1280 x 800 Pixels

Hi I'm new to tablets but have owned an Android phone for some time -
I am looking for some advice on 7" Android tablets with 1280x800 IPS screen
On my short list for now are:
Cube U21GT (4.1) 16GB -
Rockchip RK3066, 1.6GHz, Cortex A9 dual core; GPU: Mali 400 MP4 4 cores - NO Bluetooth.
PiPo U1 Pro 16GB -
Rockchip 3066 Cortex A9,1.6GHz,Dual-core CPU+Quad-core GPU Mali 400 MP4 - Bluetooth 2.1
I am also considering - because of the reputation of the AML8726-M6 compatibility with XBMC -
Ainol Novo 7 Fire 16GB (even though it is still Android 4.0.4 - can it be upgraded to 4.1?)
Dual Core AMLogic AML8726-M6 1.5GHz + GPU: Dual Core Mali 400*2 3D - Bluetooth 2.1
There other new offerings using quad-core processors but I had been advised to avoid models using the GC1000 GPU
ref: starting with Post #4 of Ainol's Quad Core ERA..(SlateDroid.com)

Thanks for any help,

Hello
Im looking to root this tablet device eZee'Tab785D11-M by Storex,
The main reason is to use the apps mentioned here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2329080 , to see if I can get really a better gaming performance and also to disable the buggy touch screen buttons.

Hi,
I am trying to decide between the two phones below and could use some help. I know that the doogee has a better processor, GPU and more ram but the vk700 pro makes up for it in other areas.
So my question is how much of a performance difference between the two would there really be?
Doogee X6 Pro
CPU: MTK6735 64bit
Cores: Quad Core, 1GHz
GPU: Mali-T720
RAM: 2GB RAM
VK700 Pro
CPU: MTK6582
Cores: 1.3GHz, Quad Core
GPU: Mali-400 MP
RAM: 1GB RAM
Thanks in advance
Currently I possess two doogee models - DG700 (6582) and Y100 Pro (6735). To my regret, I haven't seen any performance boost at all. More than that, I found 6735 (1ghz) is vastly outperformed by 6582 in terms of 2D graphics! Tested with Kung Fury, Shadow Fight 2, Vector. At least that was my experience with these 2 SoCs. It loads apps a bit faster and can keep more apps in memory due to 2GB, but that's it. IMO 6735 is a fail. At least 1Ghz.
What are your PC specs? Lets see what you all got.
These are mine:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Coppermine 800, 768 MB of SDRAM, Voodoo 55500, Intel chipset, 98 SE.
That's the one tower that works 100%. As you see, it's a legacy PC. I use it for turn of the century gaming.
My most commonly used laptop has a Tyler core TL-68, 8GB DDR2, ATi Radeon Xpress 200, and a 512GB M4 SSD. It's down right now because the Radeon is fried. I have the replacement but have not installed it yet.
