Hi y'all
I have a little issue with an app Vodafone NL made for whatching TV via tabs and mobile.
It has been made for tab 10.1 only and askes for a resolution of 1280x800.
Now i have a galaxy note 2, and my girl has a galaxy note 10.1, on none of them the app works..
Now i'm trying to change the way the app starts, the only thing it has to do is to NOT check screen size.
I'm on it for about 3 weeks now and i'm stuck.
I decompiled it but have no idea where i could find the check or disable it.. i thought in the layout xml but it doensn't have one..
Does somebody know how to get this done?

I'm having problems with modifying the dock on my galaxy tab.
the device have only 3 iocns on the dock, so it's kind of inconvenient to use it
I have tried many ways to fix it, but i didn't work.
Does anybody know how to fix the code?

Hey everyone and anyone.
I recently got a Honeycomb tablet and my biggest wtf moment is that the Android Market is locked into landscape. I have decompiled and looked around and I know what to change, just I'm afraid to test cause i can't risk a chance of a soft brick my new I/O 10.1 tab as there is no recovery at this time. Also I'm having issues with apktool.
Either way, all that needs done is in the manifest change all of the android:screenOrientation variables from "6" to "4"
6 is sensorLandscape, 4 is sensor.
It might show 6 or it might show sensorLandscape, if it shows the 6 make it 4, if it shows the text sensorLandscape make it sensor.
At least this is in "Vending.apk" which I think is just "My Apps"? Not too sure. But if there's a seperate APK for the Market than that would be work the same, too, it's all in the Manifest.
Another thing would be if you could raise the version code so it could simply be installed over top of the original Market... Is this not possible? Must it be replaced in /system/app?
I also would like to see Portrait Market, as My Nook Color can do it but my Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi can't?
I like to only use my tablet in portrait as I have good eyes and more fits on the screen. Even on my 7 inch nook color I like portrait even for browsing the internet.
Would be nice if we could force any app to go to landscape or portrait. I really think this would be cool rather then being forced to use the device the way someone else thinks I should.

Try downloading an app named LCD density.
change the no.s
the higher it is the larger the font.

Install spare parts (xda isn't letting me post links to other sites because I'm new so search it up in the market)
It's an app that let you change some hidden settings and one of those settings is font size.
I'm pretty sure it's only for rooted devices (I assume yours is rooted) but it may work for others.

EDIT: I'm not sure if this app is in the market and there is a fake in the market so try sideloading it from somewhere else

I'm actually with a eyes deficience and i need high contrast to see without any problem on my screen. I need white text on black (or dark) background.
Now i've introduced my post, is anyone here can explain me how to do that i all menu of my Galaxy tab ? ebooks is ok, opera browser is ok too, but menu are still in black texts on white background.
Can i install a theme for that ? is there a register key to change ? I've a Galaxy tab 10.1 P7510.
PS: sorry for my bad english i'm frensh and english is not my cup of tea.

I'm sorry but you're at the wrong forum. This is the forum for Galaxy Tab 7. There are probably themes that are suitable for your condition in the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Themes and Apps section.
