Can I deactivate automatic SIM contact sync after restart - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Everytime I restart my tipo dual or reactivate the SIM cards it makes a contact sync from SIM contacts.
I don't have new contacts on the SIM cards, so I don't need that.
But I don't find any way to deactivate that.

how to copy contacts from sim to phone and from phone to sim

can someone please tell me how to copy my contacts from a sim to my xda II and then from my xda II to my other sim ?
regards n thanks
jeetz
when you tab and hold on a contact the menu have an option called save to sim
i would guess thats the way you get it from contacts to what ever sim is in the phone
and Sim Manager i would guess is the program you use to get contacts from your sim to your contacts
any software to do the same ?
hhmmm you mean every rom ?
not really sure what you mean by software in this context
by software i mean a software or a tool which i can install on my xda II and then use that tool or software to copy my contacts from sim to xda II and then xda II to sim.

Couple things...
1. Have you tried a different contact to sim app? There are about 30 that I have found.
2. Just curious why you want them on your sim card... Google syncs directly to the phone, so no need to link to sim, unless it's for use in multiple phones...
Anyways, what is the exact name of the app you are using? I will try it out and see what my results are.
Just manage your contacts with GMail, or Outlook, or Yahoo, etc. Also with the SIM you only have a few fields you can use, Name, Phone, and Email are the only field's you can use.
i have been trying to use contacts 2 sim and copy to sim card. both say it cant acess the sim car. but yes it is for use in multiplle phones

Ok...Downloaded and tested several apps. All work on my phone. Sounds like you may have a bad sim. Go to AT&T and tell them you need a new one. It should be no charge for this, and take a matter of a few minutes.

Sim Car Lock Samsung Google Nexsus

[Q] Phone to tablet?

Im wondering f there is a way to turn my HTC Thunderbolt into a tablet. What I really want to be able to do is be able t be able to remove any calling features and make it WiFi only. The reason for this is that I have this phone laying around and want to be able to give it to my year old to play on without the worry that he will get into the dialer and accidentally dial 911. I want to basically turn what I already have into a tablet for hin so I dont have to share mine. Any ideas?
You could disable network in settings and then use an app-locking app so you need a password to open the settings. You could call the phone company and have them shut off service to the device. You could use titanium backup to delete the phone and messaging apps.
Just some suggestions off the top of my head.

Kid's Place, it's an app that will lock the user to only the apps allotted. I use it when punishing my son for screwing with his phone instead of getting ready for school.

Maybe I'm being stupid, but why don't you remove the (micro) SIM card? Doesn't the phone let you take it out?

It's often possible to dial an emergency number even without a SIM card (depending on country/network).
These are all great suggestions pretty much none of which I would have thought of. The only foreseeable problem that I may have is the emergency dialer at the lockscreen. 911 is the only emergency number that you don't have to add and can never delete. Can I delete the dialer in its entirety through root? The SIM idea is great however there are 2 problems that arise with that. 1) The Thunderbolt does not require a SIM card, the SIM that's in it is just for LTE so you would be able to have it active without the sim just no 4G speeds. 2) SIM cards or antyhing else for that matter are not required to dial 911. No matter how long the phone has been deactivated or if the SIM has been remover, you can still dial 911.
You should be able to delete the dialer via titanium backup if you're rooted. You could also just disable the lock screen if that's where the 911 button is.

If you change SIM, does my profile gets deleted?

Hi,
I remember once, that I was playing with Roms and I remember so far, that I changed my SIM card, and my widgets and everything got reset.
I have lost my phone and I need to know what it will get deleted when the other "person" insert his sim card....
Thanks
no changing your SIM card has no effect on your phone whatsoever other than making phone calls text messaging and video conferencing excetera excetera excetera
