I have a HTC EVO Design 4G phone, I wanted to know if I can use this phone for the service, "Straight Talk". It's a pre-paid service that uses it's own sim card, I just buy it and put it in the phone I want to use. Is it possible to do this? I can't figure out how to unlock it.

Hi,
Me being a total phone noob, bought a HTC sprint evo 4g and brought it outside the US. There is no simcard slot, so i cannot change my service provider, it seems it is definitely locked to Sprint. Is there a way that to be able to use the phone outside the US? will rooting the phone allow the phone to work with a different service provider?
i read that you need to buy one of straight talk's nokia phones to get it to work on the htc inspire phone. you cant use their other phones cuz they have locked sims. theyre offerng a samsung phone called the Samsung T255G for free. is there ANY way i can use this phone on my htc inspire 4g even though its not nokia?
So...I have a company phone with Verizon and they (my company) won't let me activate an Android on my line.
My BlackBerry has a SIM card (and since I don't quite understand how factory SIM cards work, so...), can I just buy an Unlocked Sensation and stick my SIM card in it?
Thanks...
I don't think that's gonna work. Sensation is GSM phone, but verizon uses CDMA. It's not compatible.
Dang it...forgot about that...
Hello all. I have a question for the experts here.
I want to take the AT&T sim out of my company owned iPhone 5, and put it in my HTC One (so I may benefit from their service, but on a device I actually LIKE). But, I don't want AT&T to detect the swap.
any idea how to prevent AT&T from detecting I put my iPhone sim in my HTC?
Thanks,
Drakba
Folks, just a question here as I have contemplated switching phones, I have someone who has a almost new HTC One M8 from Sprint and they are wanting to sell it relatively cheap, I'm with Verizon using a Iphone 5S with sim card, is it possible to purchase the phone and stick my sim card into it and having it work on the Verizon network and get LTE?
I know they are both CDMA carriers but wasn't sure.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
