I need help restoring my Infinity back to stock unrooted - Asus Transformer TF700

I recently ran into some financal problems (including my laptop completely dying on me) and now I need to sell my Infinity to purchase a new computer. I would like to restore it back to stock unrooted so that whoever buys it can use it as factory intended. I'm currently running CleanROM 3.3 which uses firmware WW 10.4.4.25 Odex. Is it possible to unroot this without a computer?
Thanks!

I guess removing the su and other root related binaries, and then uninstalling the supersu app would do the trick. worth a try.

and BTW you should have posted this in the Q&A section, not in development.

Why? - just sell it CROMI'd. You'll be saving the new buyer a lot of hassle

With cromi installed you should be able to get more for it.

Truth
You will be doing them a favor with Cromi on it. the stock Android is crap compared to Cromi. And sorry to hear about your computer.
Good luck selling your Infinity.

I concur...wholeheartedly!

+1 for selling it Cromi'd! Plus, you cannot re-lock the bootloader anyway, so no way to get it back to factory settings...

I would just make sure to put that in the description when selling it.
Actually, I'd use it as a selling point (improved performance and battery life via customized ROM, blah, blah blah)!

No. Mine was tho.
Just make sure your on .30 US stock firmware and have CMW or TWRP to flash JB update and back up your Root via voodoo OTA app. FYI: you will lose your custom recovery once updated, no fix for this but I'm sure there will be soon since its only been a day since the ota update.

[Q] Returning TF700 for Warranty Repair

I want to root my ASUS Transformer Prime TF700, but I heard that you have to unlock the bootloader, etc. Coming from Samsung Galaxy SII, I have never had to unlock the bootloader. Does unlocking the bootloader void the warranty? And if I want to return it, I know I have to unroot it, but do I have to relock the bootloader, or is Best Buy going to ignore it?

You can root without unlocking.
Unlocking voids the Asus warranty.
Best Buy would most likely not even check the tablet if returned.
Which Android version is your tablet on right now?

Without the unlocked bootloader, you cannot root JB directly. That may have been what you heard. However, you can get JB rooted indirectly.
The process is pretty simple, if time consuming. basically, you need to downgrade to the last ICS build, root, 'protect' root using Voodoo OTA rootkeeper, then update to JB and finally restore root using the same rootkeeper app.
There is a complete guide here in the forums, Let me find it and I'll link it.

Right.. but beans was talking about a full ROM not just firmware. this way you can flash a stock version with the features that were released with the MF1, not just the radio update that any rom can use.
i am not seeing any bar signal improvement from D3 modem but i will see how it fairs in more than just my office.

It's not that it borks it, there have been changes with everything on the new firmware that the prior kernels are incompatible, we just need kernel source. But if your on touchwiz you can flash ktoonsez kernel meanwhile for a fix.

Is it the MG1 firmware?
Updated. It is in fact MG1. I don't know if it locks the bootloader though. There is a new "Secure boot status" "type: Samsung" in about device.
Maybe I shouldn't have updated!
Update:
Like the update that has hit other countries before, it adds app2sd support. SEEMS smoother, i. e. no stutter going back to home screen etc. (but is it just a placebo effect?!)

Funny, me too (wrt placebo effect) It does seem to boot up the camera quicker and launch the gallery app better. Rooted to get my multi-window app back and everything is looking good.
I can confirm that Chainfire's CF-Root provides you with root access again after installing this update. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293800
Please make sure you thank Chainfire for his effort.
As I use my camera a fair bit, it's great to see that it launches must faster and is far smoother. I can also confirm that you can now move apps to your SD card.

[Q] Downgrade from 4.3

I just updated my samsung galaxy s3 to jellybean 4.3 and really don't like the update. I would like to revert back to the official stock firmware that came before this 4.3 update. Can anyone tell me where I can download the firmware? Unfortunately all the links I found were not working.
From what I understand, the new bootloader included in the update makes reversion impossible.

Let's just say I had a lapse in judgement. I tried to flash a stock 4.1.2 image after taking the OTA update to 4.3. (Yeah, I know.) I then tried to flash 4.1.1, and then to the stock 4.0.4, which finally worked. I have tried flashing a 4.3 update file from the stock recovery, but it won't load since it says it's expecting to update files from 4.1.2, not 4.0.4.
Any suggestions?
