first of all flash cwm of tj_style then download any custom rom fom development sec ..

Guyz I just took a new fit nd rooted it..... Nw i want to put a custom room instead.. My version is 2.3.4 gingerbread nd baseband version is DDKQ5..

there are many rom in Development ection .. have a look ,and choose according to ur convenience

[Q] little confusion

Hello,
guyz m a new xda member
and a mmx a110 user!
i am little confused on what it would be when i flash custom made roms on my phone!
are dey safe? and wat about rooting it.. last time i did it was boot loop prob which made me flash my ics rom again
please guide me for this and help me get out of this confusion

None of the ROMs available for our mmxa110 are harmfull ..rooting your phone doesn't harm your device unless you make any changes that are not supposed to do. you can get ROMs at development thread. flash them through cwm or twrp.

but can u please provide me with root file links because last time i rooted it was only d fonts i changed and it gave me boot loop! so it was d root file which gave dis prob or what?

i dont know much about how roms here for our mmxa110 perform because i dont use them. im using stock rom. coming to changing fonts, some times you will get bootloop if you try to change fonts using fontinstaller. you just uninstall the fontinstaller app and delete folder romtoolbox in sdcard. reinstall app and change the font. it works now

[Q] Cyanogenmod porting

Is anyone working on such project.. I tried porting it and it just goes till bootlogo and does not proceed any further..
I ll share file if anyone wants to play with it..
P.S. I think we need a new kernal.. i may be wrong.!!

I can give only weekends but not sure about that..
I am pretty sure some init.d tweaks and better kernal would help and that file i shared will work..
Till then i m pretty sure someone can contiue from here..

I guess the phone is huawei g330 which bears the same specifications

I would be really interested to see this but i m not sure if our current kernal version will support this

Xperia m gets cm11 (4.4 kitkat), so does tipo, ace, fit, dio... can't we also try?

Kitkat is absolutely possible.. you must need some porting knowledge and development skills ...
