Hello all! Well I have not been up to date with the Thunderbolt scene. I currently running Liquid ICS v1.5 MR2. I'm going to be blunt, can anyone fill me in on what's the best ROM at this moment? I heard ICS came out officially.

Check out some of Santod's ROMs for use as a daily driver, his are well polished complete ROMS. There are some others that are nice but I cant consider them for daily use just yet but may be nice when they are done.
Santod has 4 or 5 ROMs he is working on, and I highly recommend at least checking them out.

Santod's eternity nusense = pure thunderbolt gold! Twisted is a great developer IMO, and everyone still on this device should stay tuned for anything he releases in the future, but all other ICS roms became irrelevant to me when eternity nusense was released. Just my opinion.

It's been pulled due to several users having unresolved issues with it. As santod says, eternity nusense may return some day, but until then, it's been pulled and isn't supported. As you quoted me, I just wanted to echo disconnecktie's sentiment that santod wouldn't appreciate his work being mirrored outside of infectedrom...
Indeed he wouldnt but the other reason is that he doesn't want a Rom that may have issues floating around and then people start complaining about it.

Yes, that's something that may cause the end user of eternity nusense to form an inappropriate opinion on santod's work, whereas keeping downloads to the official threads and forcing a potential user to actually visit infectedrom.com, where official support and information is conveyed to users, is better for all parties involved.

Hey folks,
So the Chrome team finally released Chrome for Android and you can find it here:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.android.chrome
But it seems like it doesn't support the G2x?
I can't find it on the Market App on my phone, and when I go directly to its page on the web and try to install it, it doesn't show a supported device. I wonder if this is only for rooted G2x's with custom ROMs, or if it just won't work on the G2x.
I have the latest SinghUI on mine, but I suspect Chrome just doesn't support LGE LG-P999's at all right now. Is it just me or is this happening to anyone else?
You need to have ICS (Android 4.0) for this app.
When you look at apps on market.android.com, it will show that on the right hand side, this app says:
REQUIRES ANDROID:
4.0 and up
So yes, doesn't support G2X yet, as G2X doesn't have 4.0
It only works with ICS according to the press release.
Oh. Duh. Thanks.

I don't think MIUI users think they are using ICS at least I hope not. They just added some ICS functions into the framework, but since the Galnet lists the OS as 4.0 in the system information it might work most likely not though.

Galnet MIUI is just a gimmick created to get users to use and support their work. Looks and functions exactly like Gingerbread MIUI.
If you go into most miui threads alot of people think they're running ics. A friend of mine who I didn't know was into hacking android was showing someone how he was running ics on his old htc. When I looked at his phone and saw what it was I backhanded him across the face, explained to him what he really had running and then challenged him to a duel

Okay I'm new to the sg3 forums. I just switched to Verizon from Sprint and a epic 4G touch. I just couldn't take not having 4G where I live when Verizon has it here and my speed test was about 33mbps the other day on 4G ... Anyway I was running paranoid android on my epic so that's what I'm currently running on my sg3. What roms are most running and which do you guys prefer? Like I said I've only tried paranoid android and of course the stock Verizon until I rooted and unlocked the bootloader. What's a good rom to try out next?

I'm on ParanoidAndroid as well. Tried out Synergy and Redemption, both were good but I prefer the AOSP style, and I like phablet mode on PA. If I weren't really into phablet mode, AOKP would probably be my choice. But I'll second,

I second this ... very smooth, enhanced Twiz experience. The unstated bonus is that the ROM automatically takes care of IMEI backup, Busybox, Samsung root check and a host of Verizon spyware/sludge.
Plus, there are several tasty themes and kernels available to tweak your user experience.

Definitely a must try.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1883262
This is only for AOSP. How did you get it to run?
For those inquiring about the InfinitySound tag in my sig. This is a reference to UltimateSound from here .. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1883262 .. v2 was an older build released for ICS.
Very few people were able to get it to work with Synergy/ICS ROMs, so the OP took down the link and limited his newer releases to JB only.
I am not comfortable mirroring an older build that soft bricked 90% of people who installed it.
He is working on GB and ICS compatible builds, so be patient.

You should really try the incredible JellyShot v0.5.2. It's JB 4.2.1, the most recent android ever. Google will not officialy release it for Nexus S, but this version is absolutely incredible! No kidding.
Slimbean is ok, but gets buggy along the way.
Bugless Beast is good, but a little outdated
Cyanogen 10 was not good for my battery and I thought it had too many fireworks, I like simple stuff.
Download JellyShot.
Just follow the instructions. I'm using Marmite v 1.7.5 (plain not the CM)
I use the one at column C5, is working great, no lag, no nothing just incredibleness!!

What prompted me to come look is that I started up my old Samsung Vibrant and was disappointed at how fast it felt compared to my HTC One S - faster!
So... what do you guys recommend?
I'm using ViperOneS 2.00 and it's perfect to use as a daily driver. You get sense and a lot of tweaks plus new update is in the works
Well i'm using pac man rom latest version and flashed bubbas kernel 2.7 over it and it runs pretty fast. You also get a bunch of tweaks that you can change with the app kernel tuner
