I was an idiot, I removed the stock video player, without making a backup. (Idiot me)
I've searched through the play store, and I'm unable to find it. Is it just not there, or am I blind?
Could someone please post the apk? Or market link.

Hello,
i've been trying to fool the market so i can download that free app "bobsled calling" from the market because it doesn't support my device (u8180) for some reason
i know a friend has galaxy note who downloaded it so its not country related i guess...
i tried to patch my market apk. i tried market enabler. i tried the build.prop editing. every thing still cant get it i also tried to copy it from my friends galaxy note /system/app but it wasn't there which kinda weird
the app is free so its probably legal to ask
can any one please share the apk for me i'm dying to have it :/
and if u have any ideas how to fool the market to download incompatible apps beside what i mentioned please tell me xD
P.s: i'm sorry if this topic isn't in the right section but it just made sense to put it here so any one else looking for that app can find it

Does anyone has a backup of Google search apk that can also search through the phone contacts, music, apps, etc... It was present in the early ROMs and got removed by Samsung in August through OTA.

Edit : Found a working one here: http://www.androidnz.net/2012/07/how-to-restore-on-device-search-to-your.html. You just need to rename the apk GoogleQuickSearchBox_USA.apk for the GT-P3113. Happy !!

I have a Samsung Infuse 4g. I really loved the stock music player app. My current ROM, got rid of it, however. I have the apk, now. But I tried to follow the steps to install it, and it didn't work. I put it in system/apps then found it and installed it. Didn't work. I then made the permissions rw-r-r and rebooted. Didn't work. Someone please help me!

it means you have tried to install it and it is not installing?? if yes it will show a message saying app not installed and will give a reason for it. if you can please
post that message, then i may be able to help you
It did say the app was not installed, however there was no error message. It just not installed with an "x" next to it
