HI... I' just a beginner when it comes to these things so here's what happened, I have a nexus 7 gsm model which was supposedly rooted under 4.2.1. but then version 4.2.2 came and I was able to unroot the nexus 7 safely via the nexus 7 toolkit 4.3.4. Then I started to download the rom of 4.2.2 on the nexus 7 toolkit and it downloaded without any error but after trying to flash it to my nexus 7, there were some errors and then my nexus 7 just started to fail booting... Please help... I need my nexus 7 for school use... And I don't know how to fix it...
use platfrom-tools to fix it

So should i install lollipop again and then marshmallow on it?
Will it erase my data?

During the period of the 3 developer previews I read several times that there is no upgrade path from the preview to the final version and that the only way of getting a stable Marshmallow system is to do a clean flash as ldubs suggests. Yes, it will erase your data, so back it all up on your PC. There is no need to install Lollipop first.

The original stock firmware for nexus 5 is available for download I believe.
If you're looking for a nexus 5 to buy with original android, you can buy any nexus 5 and flash the original stock firmware.
