Upgrade an Android device by using "Android Control"

Is it safe to use the "android Control" tool to upgrade android device??
I have a Sharp is01, which is a Adnroid 1.6 system, and I wanted to upgrade it to 2.2 (there is 2.2 froyo system done by another developer)

[Q] Need help identifying table! Please help!

Let me start by saying I'm new to this forum and i am a complete noob. I ordered a svp tpc7901 and i got the box with the wrong tablet inside and i'm having trouble returning it. So I've been looking for days trying to identify my tablet, but I can't find anything. This tablet has no markings.
I'm trying to root it, but nothing is working. I also would like a rom. This tablet also has no market.

mine doesnt have infotmic boot screen, just android (green) first then android (grey/silver), at the green (bottom-left screen) shown 0.2.3.3.

All the good times.
Yesterday successfully flashed through the air at the ICS (telephone European). It was preinstalled antivirus Dr.Web, features pulled me to do a full scan, after which all went and rode, and it refused to back & menu. And as it was, there was nothing presaged check, look what folders scans .... \ touch_scr \ ... (do not remember exactly), at this moment, he stops and does not respond to touch screen not at all, waiting for 5 minutes - nothing has changed .... but to pull out the battery on the mind does not come after you download ..... I have already was not working back & menu. Help solve the problem. Thanks in advance.

[Q] Snopow M8 (aka F034) issues

Hi,
got a Snopow M8 phone and face several issues:
- nastiest one: incomming call that I accept seems to "restart" the phone network: I need to enter the simlock-pin and temporarely I have no GSM connection (does not appear when I make a call)
- Youtube does not work (gapps installed, rest works fine) - error messages is something like "Google Play Services is not supported on your device" - message is in german as my phone runs german android.
- Some other apps (like PayPal) do not run (not supported on your device) - most oder do.

I managed it to do a factory reset and installed CWM 5.5. but I could not find any cusotm roms that might solve the issues.
Further I am not certain.... The phone has a PTT app (400-480MHz) can it run (with a different ROM) also 144-148 MHz?
Any hint is highly appreciated.
